when you die you go to an alternate plane of reality, a purgatory so to speak, then you do something and you respawn.

I think that the usual way to respawn is just fine, you die, and then you respawn in the center of the town, or your house (if you have one), loose all the money you were carrying unless you have saved it previously in the bank, same thing with the items, and what happens with the money or items lost, they become loot for the killer, in that way a really powerful cave of monsters can get a lot of treasures literally... dont you think?

this is how it will be, no point in discussing it right now, better wait till CB to see how it really works and then suggest additions..

How about when you die you can choose to lay and wait for help like 20 second before you respawn  for a friend to heal you to above 0 hp...

Like it has been said, there\'s no point discussing this now. The devs already have a way of dealing with death.

As you wish...if the Devs already clear on death system...well then there is really no point discussing...

So OK the devs know, can anyone tell us what it will be?

Do you loose XP points?
Do you loose skill points?
Do you loose your money?
Do you loose all your items?
Do you loose one random item?

Do you have to return and have to find your corpse so you can loot your own items?

Ah, suppose you do you not loose anything at all.  You just return from the land of dead with all your stuff.  The land-law guarantees what is your is yours.

Struggling out of the clutches of the Valkyries, you rise up to fight again.

Everyone would test everything and would lose anithing.

I think there will be a lose of exp or constituation, wich you have to heal by a healer.... for money.

Maybe sickness time (lesser damage) 5-10 mins and optional is your money or things drop and you have to loot it.

In some games like DAoC you can /relese and apear at a *Bindplace/Bindstone* wich you can find in every city and use /bind to bind there.

That would be good but let us see.

you could have Xp debt, depenting on how powerful you are, makes the Xp debt vary.

So if you really powerful and you get slautered by a newbie monster, you will get alot of Xp debt, in which you will have to work of by doing what ever you need to do to get Xp.

also, that would not work.  you have to think about the players that by some sadistic twist of fate(or by their own stupidity, veries from case to case), get killed multiple times in a short period or just get killed all the time.

hay i think that when you die you should come back to life with all your items and stats but your stat/exp gain from monsters would be reduced to lets say 1/10 for a period of in game time this way you pay for dieing without making the players mad my losing there best item or that days exp/stats not that by in game i mean the person has to be playing for that pentaly time so they cant just log off and wait then log back on
ps. sorry if this post it poorly formated i normally use ms word(spell check is great)
