Title: Quick Questions to the Dev's about the latest news.

1) Easily customize combat and magic formulas. So even if you have no programming experience it can be possible to tweak data

2) Easily customize spell effects and visible effects. Can set different particle systems and colours and have different number of particles.

Does this mean everyone can give there own special touch to the magic effects, and it will show for everyone to see in the game, or am I just to exited to read properly?  :]:D:))

haha, yeah right :)

Ok, my customizable spell is following,  it takes 1 mana point and instantly kills an opponent.

seriously though, I think thats for the devs, make it easier on them, not the users

actually i have played a game where you can costomize magic spells....you go to this spell maker guy and you get a spell based on your magic skill and u can tweak and change whatever...like how much damage or paralize the monster and stufflike that...you even got to name the spell lol

yuh I made an ultimate fireball on morrowind.  :D  had like 1% chance of hitting, even with my skill at 100, but it does huge damage. :D

You\'ll probably be able to tweak the graphisms since they are client-side... But you\'ll be the only one to see your custom anim :P

*** thinks at huge fireworks for each spell *** :D

I have a question too.  Acraig said the characters were scalable now that they have proper bone riggings for the characters in-game.  Now he said you could do something shrink potion, which sounds like a universal scaling, but can you scale at the individual bone level?  Coz\' I think that would be a very useful capability in character customization, being able to adjust the various areas of your character.  And that other idea about your stats proportionately affecting the scale of certain areas of the body.

The customizable stuff is mostly for the server side of things.  So we don\'t have to rebuild the server for a simple rules change and the rules team doesn\'t have to know anything about programming to do this.  This is more of a team efficiency then a player controlled thing.

For the bones stuff, I don\'t know.  I am still learning my way through the cal3d stuff and vengeance may be better to ask since he has worked near full time on this.

Right now the scaling is done at the model level.

By being customised, I didn\'t mean the hit points and crap. just the Special Effects. :P  :P
