Title: Follow command
Post by: TheAceOfFire on January 18, 2004, 09:14:33 pm
One of the most usefull comands in everquest was the follow command. You could keep track of your leader, and still type to the group. normally the leader will have auto run. This is a very usefull and under used command.

welll its not like its only dont in everquest. i mean even runescape has that feature. im not sure this will be implemented in planeshift just because it has been dont so often. i think an auto run feature like in star wars galaxies would be a much better choice where you just pick a city and you auto run there.

Why not have both? they are both usefull in different situations.

i guess we could have both but follow commands just seem over done. Plus i trust the game way more than other players because players could just lead you anywhere for example a place where you can get killed. where as if the computer directs me i know exactly where im going.

Fine, Ill say in in SMALL EASY TO READ WORDS.

If  the other player does not send you to death, you trust them a little.

There. A little trust. Of course, the more you interact, the more you build up a \"wall of trust\".

Then you can build a \"hut of trust\".

Then a \"This is my frikin castle of trust, you diss me and they will kill you...\"

Trust me. You know you want to.

*grin*

but still that doesnt stop you from getting killed. while im building your hut of trust or whatever i might just get gang raped by level 39 trolls whle im trying to cook up a pizza. so i might just go through 3 or 4 hut of trusts before i can find a castle of trust. therefore i dont trust people so i dotn care if the follow command is implemented or not.

Well then why even post? there are many people who dont try and work with others online.

Big whoop.

I was not talking to you guys, but to people who would eventually become friends thanks to this small, insignifigant feature.

Hey whemyfield dont u trust Waylander the slayer and Cadoras :P no VERY handsome VERY cool cats :P
I see what Ace is saying , and I see what best bud whemyfield is saying, in short I wouldnt follow Ace cause I dont know or trust him, I would however follow whemyfield as I do trust her
So the problem in aces argument is he failed to mention that the person who u follow would prob be  trusted by u.
yet again Waylander saves the day

Hey, being a guide and having people follow Savion in the unmentionable game was quite profitable... like a transport service.
