Title: DEVS PLEASE ANSWER THIS.
Post by: Umpapa on January 18, 2004, 10:57:41 pm: I know this has been asked hundreds of times.. and hundreds of times the answer has been... I dont know for sure what the DEV team is planning but I heard So and so say \" yes or no\"

But for a final answer to the question of whether or not we will be loosing our hard earned gear and crystals when CB comes out. A simple yes or no is all I am looking for. I understand that there is alot of demand on you guys, dont get me wrong. I truely love the game so far and I really look forward to playing and promoting the game endlessly.

But I would really hate to think that the hours upon hours that some of these guys have poured into crystal hunting was for nothing. I personnelly am holding all my crystals in hope that once CB comes out there will be some items for wizards to buy or spells... or what ever wizards need.

I thank you for what ever answer you can give us...

Post by: Kixie on January 18, 2004, 11:07:36 pm: but what are you going to do with them? in further versions crystals will be useless. it doesnt matter if you have spent hours because in the next version the game will be radically different. If you have had enough to buy a sword or mug then thats too bad. you can probally buy a sword or mug in crystal blue in half the time. this is a pre alpha game at the moment. i never suspected for a moment that things i earned would be in the final game at all.

What makes you think the devs know everything, there are a lot of things they don\'t know for sure yet. they don\'t know when the game will be finished, they don\'t know if you will be able to save your crystals etc.
The devs are working on all of this, stop pushing them all the time, that will only annoy people and maybe it\'ll even let them release a crap version where you can\'t do anything and that\'s full of bugs, just let them do their work and i\'m sure everything will be fine.

I\'m just going to enjoy the game that much more having to earn some money, like any new guy starting a new game..

I did look for the answer in other post, but could not find the info stated in a very straight forward way. I preffer to get clairifications when there is any doubt.

Any way I am glad to see that this forum is much more active than I had at first thought. This is going to be a great game and I am glad to have to chance to meet you all.

I would like to object to this. Players that used/tested the shop system (and guilds probably used the give command as well) to buy weapons now lose their earnings.
One of the fairest things to do would be to refund all weapons according to their webshop cost. This way everyone would get back the rubies (s)he earned.
