Whats up ppl :)
Just wanted to list our organization here. Our members probably won\'t start joining until combat has been implemented, so if you\'d like some info about us you can take a look at our website.

Wow, nice site! Although I read the goals page, it still isn\'t clear to me what purpose this guild has.

Sorry, but Planeshift already has total game dominators (the Cabal). You are a little late on the concept ;).
Although, domination is not just one man\'s sport. If you fancy an alliance of sorts, you should talk to Auran

they are just as much late on this concept as cabal is :rolleyes:
there were guilds with goal of domination long (and by long I mean LONG) before cabal was created. And the more guilds want domination the merrier ;)

Well, your ideas are good, but there are already powerful guilds that already did that ... you surely have 13 y.o. and your web site looks like it was made by a 10 y.o. kid in 10 min. hmm ... very promising :D

yea there are powerfull guilds around...but theres some guilds that hold on with little or no members griping to the past like a granny refusing to go to a nursing home. they should go they have no real use anymore but they just refuse. oh i got side tracked there sorry gl with the guild :D

If you must know, all the members shown on the Black Order site are active, and I finished with the \"griping to the past like a granny\" and I started to recruit new guys ... they\'re like 1/day. :D
And soon, Black Order will be reorganized, from scratch.

Annah, just **** off and give them a chance. I, for one, like the site. If you\'re just going to go around flaming new guilds for no reason, then just shut your mouth before someone slugs it. At least give good reasons, instead of this ****.

Are we looking at different sites here?? it\'s even crappier then mirth\'s \"old\" website 8o
Black text on black bg, it took an hour to load the 2mb \"intro\" wich I still don\'t know what it was and I can\'t find any guild info at all there...
so Annah, I\'ll take the bet and go for 2 days as I haven\'t seen any member of that guild post here anymore :D

Hmm, doesn\'t that sound a little familiar; Annah said that about the Blitzers and we are still here. :D I don\'t know if this guild will make it though......but if I did bet, 2 weeks would be my guess. :P
EDIT: Oh yea, the site isn\'t that good as it has no information. Pretty cool designs and stuff, but no info.!!!

EDIT: oh yeah, did I mention the site is made for 1280 x 1024, nobody uses this resolution.. Try making it a bit more accesible to people with normal computers. and I will also tell you, I myself do use 1280 x 1024 but it still doesn\'t fit in the screen, can you imagine what it would look like at 800x600??

I saw white text on a black and orange background, and found guild info.
Oh yeah, I looked at it again, and this time, I heard background music. I now consider the site crap. Get rid of the bg music.

Druke: 5.42% of the people that visited my old website(wich had a total of 23342 visitors) used that resolution, I consider this nobody, if you\'re making websites you should at least make sure it\'s compatible with what most people use(50% 1024x786, 40% 800x600 on my site..).
btw, can someone please tell me why I have to load 3 mb of crap everytime I visit that website?

The site concept might not be the most original one.
But so are your replies to any \"new guild\"-threads.
So I ask myself... how old are _you_?

Ah... sorry \'bout that. I use IE, I\'m getting frames, a menu, and white text. Really, though, if you can\'t find any guild info, it\'s because of your browser\'s inability to display the page properly, not because it isn\'t there.

actually, it\'s about the inability of this person to write a normal compatible website, opera shows normal websites just fine, however when someone completely screws up in the code, only IE will still show it..

Anyways, it seems this wasn\'t actually made for PS, which is why there wouldn\'t be any actual \"goals\" more then the general ones.

sorry guys, the site isn\'t opera friendly, so thats why the text is blk on black. It was meant for netscape and IE and dsl or higher connections. All members of our organization holds a pc over 1.2 ghz, has at least a DSL/CABLE connection, and use either MSIE or Netscape, so that\'s pretty much why the music is added, and is why opera hasn\'t been implemented to our site compatability.
As for your comments, I appreciate them all but I am not here to flame or start guild wars, I was merely stating that our organization is considering PlaneShift as a permanant game.
As for us being too late... we have been in the gaming community since 1996, and became an organization in 1998. If you read more into our site... if you get past the black on black... you\'ll see that it\'s not just Domination. If you mouseover the list on the left hand side of the screen the main box will give you more information on the subject matters listed.
Hope this clarifies most things. I\'ll be glad to explain any other information that might have been unclear.

What the hell is a \"Dominion empire\"??!! Is it like \"the association guild\". Don\'t both words mean the same thing?
But who cares about it as long as Axsyrus tells me more about the \"sexual healing\" stuff I see on that screenie:D.

Btw... the downloads are temp files, which loads in under 14 seconds on average for all our members. cookies are a waste of time for us.
As for the resolution... most of our gamers use the resolution listed. That\'s why the little note up top in the intro says best viewed.... etc. because it\'s the preferred resolution of our members. The site is geared to our members, not our visitors. If this is an inconvenience, by all means do not enter the site. It really is the viewer\'s choice, and we\'d rather you be happy than frustrated. :)

Hmm, I never saw that image. I was kinda seeing what Axsyrus saw and I use Mozilla Firebird. I could dig up my old IE and take a look at the site.........

Well, I\'d just like to say, good site and good luck. I liked the site. I hope you guys have fun playing PS.
I\'d also like to say that I sure hope certain people in this forum will think up better ways to handle competition than by flaming all the new guilds... how immature. I mean, really, if they die, they die, if not, great, but nothing you say is gonna do anything except raise tempers. And if they are as foolish as you think, then they shouldn\'t be any threat right? So you can afford to be benelovent right?

btw, the reason I flamed this guild is not only because it was new, but because I could see hardly any information, and the goal seemed a bit stupid to me, I\'m glad this is cleared up now :)

Drezz, I would like to say good luck with your guild. I think you\'ve shown alot of courage and integrity to not get angered by the flames by certain people on this thread. Just ignore them. :)

Savion can see the site... it just isn\'t very easy on the eyes... kinda hard to look at. You might want to consider a change in layout.

As a gamer and admin member of DOMINION, I try to keep the best outlook on things, no matter what is thrown at me. As an organization, we understand there is a lot of misinterpretation in almost any situation. Actions by a member may not define a Guild or Clan, but it does represent the overall quality of the organization.
DOMINION doesn\'t like making enemies, and will never hold a grudge. Our Rules of Conduct strictly forbids any flaming for all of our members. We (Guardians of DOMINION) do love competition, there\'s nothing more exciting than a great challenge, no matter the outcome. We hope you all the best, and will look forward to getting to know and respect you as friend or foe.

Drezz\'s website is just fine. Looks like his org is for real gamers not forum posters, and the Enya tune is a nice touch.

Sorry... I meant that we don\'t like making enemies from forums/flaming. In any game, there will always be enemies. From DOMINION\'s point of view, it\'s more of a competetive enemy than a personal one. I hope that clarifies the point.
Btw... for the people asking... the site wasn\'t just made for PlaneShift. We are an online gaming organization, created to play any type of game that can be played over the internet. The majority of our member base are MMORPG gamers.
Sorry for responding so late, just returned home today from the hospital. Got a new baby boy on Monday morning :)
