Title: History of the community for storytelling

Hey all, I could use some community history for telling newbs.  Typing \"The Downfall of LW\" again and again gets boring after a while, ya know?
Anywho, No fanfics please, just \"Community History\".

monk thats gonna be a hard thing to do. people are gonna wanna write a funny story about stupid things. i mean its inevitable that this will turn 180* into a comedy..

Well, considering I\'ve been around for more than 3 years, I thought I could give my share...

Okay... It all started like this - and I\'m afraid it hasn\'t moved one inch, except that now we can collect crystals, and we have more people than when it all started.

That\'s the most detailed PlaneShift story I\'m able to write at this point of day (9am), so you\'ll have to enjoy it until someone takes the time to write a more detailed one, however I\'m not sure that\'s going to be easy. :)

Edit: Btw! I forgot to add that we got a new forum a little more than two years ago!

uhmm.... if you put it that way, I\'m pretty sure he meant the history of Yliakum, not Planeshift....
so no, histories about collecting crystals and everyone being a dwarf aren\'t the right thing
There are actually stories born from roleplaying and various actions that took place here. Something more interesting than hearing about new forums :|
which is actually non-roleplay, and I know he wants roleplay stories

Meh, I came up with a little something to go on.
(and justify Drak\'s Racism against dwarves)

In Chendosi, a scummy town far from Hydlaa, a small group of dwarves stole over half the items in the only bank.  Chendosi is also renowned for it\'s infamous teenage dwarf-gangs...

[Edit:And there was another event \"The First Sparring of Monketh and Draklar\".  Dwarf+Monk+Drak+Racist comments=fight!  Drak\'s hp gets halfed but he pwns monk with his claymore.  Monk has 1 hp and runs off to the tavern where he recovers and parties with Sangwa.  Sangwa attempts to hire girls, none come \'till Sangwa leaves.  Monk bakes delicious pies enjoyed by the party goers :P]

No no no, Yann. There was PlaneShift even before there was Atomic Blue. :) It may be hard to believe, but it\'s true. :) Oh how we waited for that stupid version, and oh how it was running bad on my computer... *Sigh* So disappointed I was.
