okay this might be a stupid question but what axactly is spamming ?

Spamming is when you post for basically no reason, mostly pointless posts like \":D\" or \"ROFL!\" or \"heh\" or any other pointless sayings that don\'t add anything to the topic.

\'Spam\' is \'Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages\'. They include single-sentence posts (or posts with less than 3 words), posts that say nothing about the topic, or posts that discuss or respond to other spam messages. [Edit: Oh, and also any posts typed in UPPERCASE. No matter what it says, it will be vapourised. :P]
I had something so long written here... but I think I\'ll save it for some kind of \'spamming rules\' thread if it\'s approved. This forum really needs a TOS, nobody\'s really sure what we allow or not anymore. :P

SPAM has been inverted by Monty Python. That was a funny scetch, but only there it was some kind of meat.
And the real meaning in English is meat(of some sort) if I am not mistaken. (so correct me englishman over here)
