Either Im not looking in the right places, or there is no \"way\" to become a geomancer. I want to specialize in spells that hurl a large boulder of rock at my enemies to cause blunt, crushing damage without a hammer. I was hoping it was the brown way, but I read off the forums its was for summoning toads and creatures.
Tying this in with my cartographer profession would be interesting too. :D
-
good idea. you should post this in the spell wishlist. at first after seeing the subject i was ready to flame that throwin ingame objects would cause lag but now im glad i could save my fingers the trouble! :P
-
The Brown Way is Summoning AND Earth - Brown Way = Geomancer
-
stoning things to death does sound rather fun
-
aye, its not just summoning, there will be 8 parts to it, not sure of all 8, the\'re kept secret =) summoning i assume is one of them.
-
Maybe if you are skilled in the Brown way you will be able to dig to find some items like crystals (if they are still there)or maybe a rusted weapon.
BTW it should not just average diging but pulling a large amount of earth out so it will find more things and more chance in finding things than digging with a shovel

Great, with your line of magic you can minipulate your kond. With water, summon rain and things like that. Brown stone, rock avalange. With air like tornadoes and other windy disasters and of cours FIRE!!! You can what todo with that :P
But isnt that a use disadvatage for al the swordsman etc??? They cant do anything but RUN RUN RUN very hard :D
-
Well, isn\'t the blue way cover the rain.... Savion think storms would be in the blue way.

Usually all that takes to kill a mage are not more then a few hits, their defence and hp are usually low, so, you can RUN RUN RUN in the mage\'s direction and hope you can kill him before he kills you, or summons something powerful...
-
this could bring in the social and team aspects as well as stealth. the mage obviously cant be seeing all 360 degrees around him so you either have to sneak up behind him and start beating him up quickly or get a friend or 2 and all come in from different angles so he can only get one of you b4 the rest are upon him and hacking him to bits
-
their defence would be low unless they are a battle mage :P
The Swordsman should have special moves like to charge, slash or a passive skill like dodge so they cant only RUN RUN RUN they can RUN RUN RUN and dodge :D
-
\"Sshh, dear, don\'t cause a fuss. I\'ll have your run. I love it. I\'m having run run run run run run run beaked beans run run run and run!\"
-sorry, I smelled SPAM...
-
hmmm...geomancer would be awesome but i\'d much rather see a dracomancer though
-
A dracomancer? Thats someone who controls dragons right? I think that may be too powerful for a player occupation. Oo Maybe a boss type npc could be one?
(I admit, that would be cool to see a guy surrounded by dragons as though they were his minions.)
(50th post!! :D)
-
The devs have alredy said No Dragons, so no dracromancer.
