Maybe you some of you caught it or not but on the main page under the races section, it says that Kran also eat seaweed, because its full of salt from the salt water. I don\'t know I just though it was interesting because all of us are used to saying that Kran only eat, rocks, crystals, minerals, and stones.
-
Salt is a mineral...
-
you know I did say,\"Kran also eat seaweed, because its full of salt from the salt water.\" My point was the seaweed and I know salt is a mineral or I wouldn\'t have said,\"because its full of salt from the salt water.\"
sheesh.
-
that could create some conflict between kran and those quatic elves that farm seaweed
-
that could lead to some good trade wars
-
Woohoo! Yeah! I\'m in for a guild war! Oh, sorry...
-
Hmm... not really a guild war. More of a race war (unless there\'ll be a seaweed eater guild and a seadweed farmers union)
Can lead to interesting situations though. I like that. :D
-
Seaweed eaters guild. Hm. I like it :p Anyway, could be cool to have some trade wars, but wouldnt it effect more then just elves? It would effect anyone the elves traded their seaweed suppilies. Could get quite interesting.

They use seaweed for about everything:
The seventh and eight level, both usually submerged, host the Nolthrir, an Elven race who have been attending the seaweed for thousands of years. With the influence of time and the Crystal, the Nolthrir evolved into an amphibious species, which enabled them to remain under water for long periods of time. After centuries of crossbreeding, the seaweeds grown with such skill as the Nolthrir possess boast different qualities. Some of these varieties are used as food, while others are tanned and woven to make clothing. Still others have medicinal properties, but most of the seaweed is dried and used as fodder for Pterosaurs, Megaras, and cattle bred on the first level.
Kran metabolism is very complex, they are used to eat sand of various and precious minerals that are digested in their stomach thanks to strong acids. They can also eat food full of mineral salts like seaweed and some crystals created in their kitchen, similar to chemical laboratories.
they don\'t do anything with the seaweed, just the digest the minerals, the organic stuff probably ends up in their shit ^^(\" Their organism is the only one, amongst the known races, to be based on silicon instead of carbon.\")
anyways, I don\'t think they need to start any wars about that, I don\'t think Kran can swim anyways :P
-
point is, they still eat the seaweed.
-
and what\'s the point of your point? :P
-
what\'s the point of your point that you were trying to point to me?;)

Too bad krans dont breath air. it would be funny to see a scubadiver go down 1000s of years later and say \"Poor little kran, he didnt stand a chance.\" And then we could put him in a museum and put him in a glass box and children could point and laugh at the silly little kran and how stupid he was to drown to death.

Krans actually do breath air, but they can\'t swim, that\'s why I said they couldn\'t make war, the nolthrir would just swim away from them :P
Because their skin is made of silicon, the Kran are very resistant to laceration but, lacking flexibility, is more easily damaged by bludgeoning weapons. Silicon still supports oxygen linkages, so Kran breathe much more slowly than other races, enabling them to happily breathe underwater.

haha thats pretty funny....
\"We almost had them all killed....but...\"
\"But, what?\"
\"They swam away...\"
:P :D
