Title: Musicians

Hi,

I seem to be the only musicain in town :(
If anyone needs a Guild it is a musician.
Making music together, there are much more posibilities.
(like orchestras, bands and choirs)

However, I seem to be alone...
If there are any musicians, pleas let me know,
If there are enough of us we might even form a guild.

Don\'t think there are any musicians at the moment, although, you might want to check out the wish list-forum.
There was a thread about the power of music, alas, that was ages ago.

Your guild will have to come play at the Arcane Tower - I\'d hire a troupe of muscians to help relax after trips into the labyrinths!

Pfeffa,

You will \"fit in\" almost anywhere. Most guilds would be happy to have you as a productive member no matter what their stated aims are in Planeshift, unless they dislike music.  :]

If you join the PS server and mention that you\'re looking for a guild, recruiters will all over you like a swarm of bees.

Read their websites first. If they have a vision that you like and friendly people who have some sense of the arts, those guilds might be choices.

Starting your own guild can be a lot of fun and a lot of work, but it could be worth the effort. I play music and the idea of a guild of musicians sounds really great. I\'m very happy where I am, though.

Now for the plug...

(don?t need to be a guild member for that)
If more people or clans would want that, I could make a lot of friends and could go freelance :))

I\'d love to see a Musicians Guild - that\'d be awesome - oh, one thing though, you don\'t need warriors for protection - only admit musicians! (well maybe bards ;))

I agree, i a musician / bard guild would be great and add fun / depth to the world of Planeshift.

I already see posts in the Yliakumic streets:

Bard/musician guild is cool.  It would be nice to see some storytellers (and recorders) in game. :)

That would be awesome to have a guild like that. Good luck with it!

Also, bards and musicians dont have to travel in big groups.  Maybe this guild could also be a regulator to the quality of bard folk about.  And the better the music that the bards or musicians produce, the higher their rank.  The higher their rank, the higher their pay when asked to perform somewhere.

Just an idea or two.

There apears to be a market for the Musicains guild.

Now all I need is some more musicians.
(musicians/bards/storytellers/performers)
Maybe it should be called a performers guild.

as head of the Academy of Gambling and Entertainment Services (AGES guild) i would like to offer my services as a Box office/promoter for any concerts/plays/etc you and your fellow artists may wish to hold.... i think u will find my rates reasonable

(this might have to wait till we have such things as musical instruments, amphitheatres, signs etc)

Until we have instruments we will have to make do with singing.
The Guild could have a (virtual) theatre where the members could \"perform\" (post).(MIDI, Lyrics, or even mp3)
