Title: Could we have a Weekly event? Please

I was just thinking.   I am still new to the Planeshift community, however I would really like to see the community as a whole start doing things like events.

I know there are quest in the game already.  But I was thinking that maybe each week either at a certain day or time one of the DEVs or even one of the Moderators here could hold an event.

Something like:
*A Group Treasure hunt.
*A Group Hide and seek match.
*Find the most gems in an hour match
*Find the special gem match. (Assuming the devs can make a speical crystal spawn.)


Just some ideas.. But I think it would give the guilds and also just people in general some thing to do.   Maybe there could be rewards to spur the intrest and or competition.    Mabye the winners could get an Avatar on the forum, or an icon next to there name.  Maybe a New skin could be added for them for a temporary time..  (IE.. Solid gold or maybe some color shade of there choice. ) just to look different.   It could last until the next weekends competition.

Just some Ideas.  I searched the forum but couild not find anything like this.   So if this is a repeat please forgive me.  

What Ideas do you have for a competition?  maybe we could even start a competition and start with small prizes..  then work our way up to big prizes.

I like the general idea about ingame events, however, every week? That might be a little too much. :) Anyway, my personal oppinion would be to wait for CB to do such things as this. Then there\'ll be monster events as well, and that\'ll be fun. :)

PvP on everywhere? Gee, didn\'t I just read something about PvP only being in restricted zones, and under strict control? Oh well, sure. Why not just turn the server into a bloody massacre for anyone who wishes to play on a Saturday. :D

ummm  well not exactly what I was talking about.. but  I guess so..  lol     As long as there is no looting of players.
