You know what would be cool? Lets say that there are these symbols used for casting magic and not everyone knows how to use them, but in addition to their main purpose of creating spells, they each have there own meaning. In other words, you have an alphabet similar to chinese where instead of having symbols that represent sounds, you have symbols that mean things all on their own. Of course you wouldn\'t have as many symbols as chinese does, so each on of the symbols would have multiple meanings that were related, but still different - a group of meanings if you will.

you mean like runes and rune bindings?
