Amazing! Six comets here. The one on the right is Otiga Minor, since he helped me find a spot where I could see six, and the group is the Corbonid meteor shower, because I discovered it. It\'s about time I contributed something to the community...
-
I don\'t understand something.
\"The one on the right is Otiga Minor, since he helped me find a spot where I could see six...\"
If he showed you where you can see the six, how can you say you \"discovered\" them? Unless I\'m misinterpreting something.
-
I\'m still the one that actually discovered that bug and showed it to Explorers :|
edit: and the one on right is called \"Haven\" so you can\'t really name it...
btw: here are all 8 comets:

wow. so THAT\'s what i caught the tail end of while working on skins.
very cool.
it\'s a sign of things... i\'m sure of it.
-
Yup, Draklar I think was the first to discover them all that time ago. :) It\'s a shame when somebody thinks they\'ve discovered something, only to find... they were too late. :D
-
I found the area for this group of comets, but I only saw four at once, otiga backed up and then he could see six...
I knew there were comets all along, just didn\'t know they could be sighted from so many places. However, my record of six wasn\'t very longstanding. :(
-
This is, like, the fourth time I have discovered something to find out I was too late as it is... under the library stairs, under the tower, under the world (fell out of the dome :P)... sigh... Ah well, at least me and Hevrah are some of the only people that have been under the warehouse stairs, IIRC
-
anyway, from the right those comets are called
Haven
Ophidian
Clawhand\'s Comet
...to think about it, since I\'m not Clawhand anymore, gotta name some other one ;)
so yea, 2nd from left (since it looks more like a fireball :P) shall be named after me. And the first from left... well what can I say? lady Aelya :D
name the other 3 whatever you want, Corbett, you have the right to ;)
-
This has to be the greatestestst discovery evers!
But only because I can\'t be negative.
-
so the devs havnt said what they are supposed to mean yet? how long ago did these appear?
-
My guess is that it\'s the temple way\'s fireplaces that are buging

Way to ruin the mood Commando...

Wow, I never noticed those; cool!!
(Although I hardly ever looked up.......)
Hmm, I might start playing again to just see them. I bet they are rare; eh?

Happened that way with my first wife; her daddy was a wealthy industrialist who left her a lotta money.
But, her previous husband had cleaned her out long before I came along.
:P

I\'m trying to think of names. Any ideas?
-
Alucard
Alucard Jr.
Alucard Sr.
Have your pick, I really dun mind, they are all great names really. :D
But seriously, Aduro sounds good, it\'s latin for burn. Or Aqua Aduro, rain of fire...or close enough to it.
I am out of ideas.... :D

There\'s something I don\'t get. If Aduro means burn, and Aqua means water, how can Aqua Aduro mean Rain of Fire? Shouldn\'t it be Burning Water or something like it? :)
-
i make maps so i know all about these types of bugs
when you enter a building ou go through a zone portal so the real building is really in some random place outside the skybox/dome. the glitch you see here is quite a common one where you are able to see flames through walls.
if anyone wants to know, there are also 3 more in a looking straight ahead type position but im not going to tell you where to stand to see them :P
-
Hmm I just noticed that the fire pits in front of the temple aren\'t there. Seems like that\'s what we\'re seeing.
-
Yep, if you stand in certain spots and look in a certain direction the firepit flames get tossed up into the air for some reason. Nice fireworks diplay though.
-
hmmm ok so maybe i was wrong about that skybox/dome thing
Aendar congratulations! you are correct lol
well if we are really seeing the firepits moved in some bugged way shouldnt there be a 10th one?
-
10th? Theres 8 as far as i remember, 4 on each side of the temple entrance path...course i just got of PS and im rather tired....its a bit fuzzy:P

Actually I am taking a Latin Class, and if those translations are correct, \"rain of fire\" would be \"Aqua Aduri\", though that could also be translated \"fire\'s rain\" which technically means the same thing...

AND I QUOTE, \"OR CLOSE ENOUGH TO IT\"
it was close enough, just go with it.
-
Do these fireballs/comets fall?
Or do they just like stick up in the air?
-
These comets are just the flames from in front of the temple, they are just in a different position. This means they don\'t fall. They move when you move around though..
-
Just hang there. They\'ll move if you move your view though.
[Edit]nice timing axsyrus[/Edit]
