Title: Happy Valentines Day!
Post by: Kada-El on February 13, 2004, 05:16:35 pm: I know this is a bit short notice, but I\'d like to see in V day (and more importantly my birthday! ;)) tonight at around midnight GMT and I\'d love to invite as many of you that can make it along to perhaps have a little celebration party in PS. Hope some of you will be able to make it and if I don\'t see you...

But it does give me an excuse to have a nice PS party and at least I\'m always assured of a card, even if it is a b\'day card ;) :P

C\'mon Xalthar, I know you\'d like to, but we can\'t blame the US for everything ;) Valentines traditions originate in Europe don\'t they? With routes in pagan festivals, as so many of our holidays do.

It was in place of \"King\"...a little bit before Mogura became a mod (I know that because she got one too, and it\'s moderator now ;) )

I\'m from Denmark, we were pagans for some time alright, but to show affection we bashed eachother in the head, we didn\'t give eachother foppish chocolate or gimpy cards.. The US is to blame!!! :rolleyes:

And as the Natrina party hasn\'t even occured yet...

A huge thanks to all those generous souls who were kind enough to bring me presents and I\'m really sorry if I missed out on thanking you during the night - there were so many messages I\'m sure I might have missed thanking some of you in person.

And a really extra special thank you to Kwartz for making such a great job of decorating the tavern for me, and of course to Nilaya for her hard work in creating such a wonderful birthday creation for me! It really was an amazing site to see and such a generous and selfless thing to do!
