Given it\'s an undefined symbol in an external lib, i don\'t see how a debugger can help. If you want so badly to debug i suggest you to add --enable-debug to CS and cel projects (i\'m not sure it\'s the good option for cel, you may want to use --help).

I have never had this bug so i can\'t really be sure, but this kind of bugs can be caused by a bad update or an update not followed by a compilation (i\'m speaking of cel). I suggest you to use the date tag provided by the devs (if it\'s for MB CVS, if it\'s CB, you probably need the latest version). So what i advise you:
* remove completely the cel directory
cvs -z3 -d -D 2003-05-16 co cel
then compile.

Of course i can, but you may want to say what are your problems and/or what you don\'t know to do ;)

And also if you are under Windows or Linux, since i\'m a Linux user, i can\'t give very accurate info for Win install...

Well i don\'t really understand but i\'ll try to give you some hints:
* First, you have five parts to download. Download completely them (it must last about 1 hour with a good connection, 8~10 with a 56k modem)
* Then download the reassembler in the same dir than the five parts and run it.
* i think then you have to launch run_me_first.bat
* Then you have an exe you can use to play PS (in a new dir)

I hope i didn\'t say something stupid or false... Whatever, unless you really want to play PS *now*, i don\'t advise you to try for days to run Planeshift: there isn\'t many things to do currently and the next version should come soon. As the devs expect a much larger player base for it, there will probably be better install tools.

[edit]no, sorry i don\'t have msn. If you want real-time help, you should come on IRC #planeshift  @ irc.quakenet.org. If you don\'t know how to use IRC there\'s a guide here: http://www.planeshift.it/community_irc.htm [/edit]

http://www.planeshift.it/download.html, there\'s the five parts and the reassembler here. Or do you mean another link?

[edit] If you really can\'t get the program to run, yes. You will probably have a better input if you wait Mogura\'s forum check. She knows generally how to solve all the problems ;) [/edit]
