Title: Cannot Create Directdraw device

I can run planeshift ok....choppy but ok.... but when i try to run the setup program it says \"cannot create direct drawdevice\"

not to mention i noticed something saying \"using alternate driver\" when i ran the game itself.

Anyone know the problem? I\'m running an 800mhz system with 256megs ram and a radeon 9200/128 megs ram. Os is windows ME (<-- haha windows... that could be a problem right there! ;) )

have you installed last version of your card drivers and what version of directX did you use to ?

Windows isn\'t a bad OS in general. Windows ME, on the other hand, is the worst piece of trash they have ever made. I don\'t know how on earth they got to release something so horrible.

Switch to 98SE, or 2000, or XP. Anything but ME. Trust me, it\'ll help a lot more than just PS.
