I REALLY wanna get the guild to the point where i can go official
i have the webpage and forums (cyrandir send me yer email address so i can set up yer account goddamit!)
all i need is the 10 members requirement fullfilled..
so far there is me, 3 members (1 of which is innactive), 1 player saying he will join when he can quit his current guild and 1 maybe
I NEED MORE MEMBERS!!!
ive had a lot of positive feedback concerning the concept of the guild... but applicants are still too rare
so... basically... any of u guys wanna join PM me... anyone hear of someone looking for a guild tell em to PM me....
i know at the moment i cant offer much to members...i will (as far as i am able) support my members financially... additionally as the guild reputation spreads (something that would be aided no end by becoming official) being a member offers you the ability to back up your trustworthyness if u currently enjoy gambling.... also you will benefit from the information concerning customer gambling habbits/likelihood of not paying debts etc that our members have gathered
the guild is very laid back.... i dont really ask anything from the members except that they be fair in their gambling and dont give the guild a bad name.... any profits you make will be yours to keep (in future i plan to have a guild treasury from which you can reclaim your gambling losses and when that is in place i will ask that a percentage of your profits be put back into it but we will also have ppl dedicated to topping that up... and it aint in place yet)
i also plan in future to have a storeroom and larder for use by guild members (items on loan.. no cost... food + perishables completely free)
thus as a member you will recieve the bonus of the guilds reputation and wealth, use of its items, free perishables and you will be able to use the guilds funds to make profit for yourself with minimal risk in the case of an unprofitable gamble
i dont think i can say fairer than that...can i?

That\'s 4 threads in ten days.. most people refer to this as spamming.. and they aren\'t different things, they\'re all about the same guild. You can put it all in one thread..
PS. Even the cabal doesn\'t make that much threads.. go figure :rolleyes:

show me the rule of 1 thread per guild + ill condense it down
the post regarding the guilds reputation (ok so i forgot about that 1 + didnt see it in the search)... was a response to a closed topic that (despite the fact that i dont like re-opening closed topics) i felt important as the key to my guilds success/failure relies on whether people can trust us
larger/older guilds dont need as many topics due to the fact that they are well known & already have the required members to get \'official\' status (and therefore are on the official guilds list... ie more advertising).... smaller/newer guilds starting out need to advertise
anyways... until a mod tells me otherwise i shall post as i see fit

Deddarus: You\'re not restricted to 1 thread per guild, but it\'s considered spam if you start filling the guilds forum with loads of threads concerning topics that could be condensed into 1 long organised post, at the top of one thread. If you\'re concerned with your rep, this won\'t be helping. ;)
If in doubt, the edit button is your friend. Edit also bumps threads (which is considered against the rules, however it is valid if you\'ve done it to add new information or a new topic to the thread).

you don\'t need 10 members to be added to official guilds list... the more that there is no such list from devs :P

All Guilds must respect these rules to be elegible to become official:
The Guild must have an unique named leader.
The leader must send to PlaneShift Team his real name, country and a valid e-mail. If he wants, his identity can remain unknown to other players.
The guild must have at least 10 members, including leader.
The leader is responsible for the actions of the members of his guild; if one of them goes against the rules of PlaneShift, the leader must immediately remove him from the guild.
The leader cannot be a member of the PlaneShift Development Team. This will prevent unfair advantages between guilds.
The Guild must have a web page that states scope, beliefs, members, etc...

yeah and me and Draklar (note i didnt call him drakkie!) r always havin a laugh... i call him drakie or drakmeister or Dark lord Drakkie Ass\'vandal... + he threatens me and my guild with slow painfull death as soon as his double swords become usefull.... aint PS cool... join up.. make friends... recieve death threats... gotta luv it :D

You think that just because people see this thread they will join? That\'s a laugh. Not to mention the fact that once they read the thread they will see exactly how worthless the leader is...

sorry folks... fireworks display is over... i mistakenly thought that draklar took it all as the lighthearted messin i intended and that his annoyance was just his RP\'d character.... seems i pissed him off a little (not my intention)... so im stopping...this thread = dead

How do you plan to make the guild not survive considering there is no weapons on the game and even if you did have weapons...what? Killing a character wouldn\'t change any difference to a guild because I am sure they would just respawn eventually..right? Just wondering :)
One more thing :) Don\'t talk it up about killing people until you have tried out the fighting system you might find it not to be your style and you might find out the hard way that you might turn out to be the worst at it! Who knows why not wait until its released before talking smack its pointless at the moment :)

First: Ok there are weapons but no damage comes along with them sorry :)

Third: Your right we are a bunch of gamblers...but doesn\'t mean some of us don\'t have the courage of a warlord or a knight, and doesn\'t make us anyless of fighters :)
Yes this is all a game and all in fun no war, no enemy, no fight will i take personally. Just a way to pass the time of my boring life :)

leader of a guild that is aimed to have fun and actually gamble a lot decides to insult warlord of much older guild that is aimed at fighting... yea, very smart :rolleyes: :P
and you said about weapons, not fighting, duh :rolleyes:
