I have noticed that not much has been focused on the three martial art schools in the forums, and I think a very wide area of opinion is open here. Here are the descriptions word for word from the game about the different schools (right-clicking does this)
Argan(2)
Who belongs to this school thinks that energy should be used only as defence. No energy should be dissipated outside our body. Our energy should not interfere with the energy of other beings.
Esteria(2)
Who belongs to this school thinks that the energy should and must be used outside ourselves, in this way our body will generate everytime new and fresh energy and the world will feel our presence. This school focus mainly on short distance effects such as empowering the weapons with energy to enhance damages, produce effects like fire shields around the body, etc.
Lah\'ar(?)

As you can see, Argan will not attack with their energy, so I assume they will be the strongest unarmed fighters. Esteria seems like it would use weapons and their energies will enhance them. Lah\'ar................... we just dont know.
I was, at first, thinking Lah\'ar would be very energy proficient, like ki fighting.(Although DBZ did get lamer with each episode, its fighting style would be interesting to see in a MMORPG) But thats why I opened up this thread to know what everyone thinks what the last school should be and what it focuses on.
Who to this school thinks what?

I actually debated which area of the forums I should have put this. I ended up posting here because I am not really wishing for anything, just sparking conversation on the martial arts of PS. Its like my \"What will be your weapon of choice?\" thread.
(BTW) All the info I put up about the schools is not my own, thats what the game says about it, if you hadn\'t caught that before.

Yes, interesting thread.. I know very little about these schools of martial arts, just what\'s in the .xml files.
btw, here\'s the description for the Lah\'ar school:
The disciple belongs to this school believes that energy energy should be spread in the world around us, we should mix our energy with the energy of other beings. This school focuses on ESP, mind control, telekinesis and related powers.
Basecost of this school is 2, like the other two schools.

I\'d like to see special attacks go under these martial arts e.g \"attack of the snake\" or something like that, to deal extra damage and maybe inflic a minor poison or other random effect.. in short, the more special abilities the funnier it\'ll be playing as a martial artist.

What will be really interesting is to see if the devs allow for different sects since in most martial arts, although there are main schools, there are often many derivatives.
Implementing this in a way that would actually produce depth instead of \"just more options\" would be difficult though.... I wonder if it could be achieved by using a system like the glyphs were there are many combinations.... Who knows ^^

Try right-clicking on the schools on the character creation screen Ice, its all there.
