Title: It's party time again!
Post by: Kada-El on March 04, 2004, 11:18:49 pm: Everyone likes a good party, right? Any excuse to drink the tavern dry, toss a few dwarves and run around the temple after acraig ;)

Well, we have a very special birthday to celebrate this weekend. Our good friend and kind host Molecular Blue reaches the grand old age of 1 year old, awwwww (http://www.gaboby.plus.com/cake.gif)

I propose we celebrate this auspicious occasion and mark the event with a gathering the likes of which Hydlaa has never seen! (or just hang around in the temple in a big group as usual ;)).
I guess this is also a good opportunity to give MB a proper send off and celebrate the changes to come - chances are he won?t be with us much longer ;(
Of course everyone is welcome (even devs :P), be sure to bring plenty of cake and ale and your ideas for games and events. I?m sure we?ll give old MB a party to remember, c?mon let?s see what the server can handle :D

Festivities to commence at around midnight GMT on Saturday 6th March in the Temple, where hopefully the evil gate crashing lag beast will be at its weakest. I hope you?ll be there!

A. Am always too lazy to convert from GMT, even though I already know I\'m -8.

B. Can barely remember to feed myself, much less go to an event in a game.

C. Have forgotten every other event in PS I considered going to.

D. Will probably be sleeping whenever this is.

This is not multiple choice, that answer is all of the above! Oh well, I\'ll just go on now and celebrate early :) .

Hehe, yeah although he chose other, shall we say cruder terms to express his feelings ;)

He was the proud recepient of the first official warning I have given as a GM, and he left after that, so I\'m happy :D

That said, Happy Birthday Molecular Blue, you\'re more special than the devs could have ever imagined you\'d be. :) Lets hope that Crystal Blue will bring as much joy, fun, love and excitement as its little brother has over this last year. :)

Now everyone keep hold of your screenies! One day we can all look back at them and remember fond memories of these parties and how great they were! :)

It was a pretty big thing, with a few devs showing up and the client count hitting a ?high? of 63 at one point. Oh well, here are the pictures. These have been shrunk and compressed a bit for decency, but I might link them up to higher res versions.

Some areas outside were a different matter though, with some complete game freezes that I struggled to get free from.
