In an effort to cut down on posts already listed before, I shall try to organize all these posts already made. You can help by either editing this post if you have the ability of a moderator, or finding links in the categories and posting them so someone else can edit it into this post.

I could use a little help writing up brief summaries of the topics.

I shall try to update this as much as possible, or whenever I feel like it. :P Of course, I may go inactive, which would create some problems.

Really interesting stuff. Maybe this will avoid the creation of new threads with ideas already discussed. Maybe it can be a good idea to indicate the status of the idea (people are discussing it, no one want it, people are shared, everyone like it, devs have refused, devs have accepted) - but i\'m too lazy to do it :(

Hmm... A good idea. I can attempt to do this, but I might be too lazy and not have enough time... *Looks at compilation* That\'s a lot of posts to find statuses for...

EDIT: Added a few more links, plus \"Health\" and \"Entertainment\" section to Table of Contents. Added a few more summaries as well.

Feedback on how to make this post more effective would be welcome!

The \"Sweet\" battle idea I\'ll add, but the \"Sweet\" magic idea has already been suggested in two posts earlier found in my compilation. I\'ll change the title to \"Battle Idea,\" as I just am not comfortable with using the word \"sweet\" when it is not in direct reference to taste. Call me insane - you\'re probably right.

Your FPS language is not wanted here. Welcome to the RPG world  8). Call it something roleplay-esque like \"ye olde magick\" \"The Magic of Mount Doom\" \"The magic of the eye of the beholder\" \"The Magick and The Dark Arts\"

Now your getting it!  :D


Anyway what he means is not that the word \"sweet\" has already been used, but rather the idea is unoriginal, it has been said and done.

Oh, and would future posters mind putting a space between the URL brackets to disable it from linking thread viewers to the thread? If you see what I mean, of course. Something like this:

Hi, this is my first post. Today I played for the first time at planetshift, and I like it; but:
- the interface isn\'t very useful, why don\'t put a mini-map in the window (and a larger somewhere)? why don\'t put on the border of the window just these informations: my life, enemy life? I don\'t want to have half window coverd by unuseful menus!
- i think that it wood be great if there will be and ability to make weapons, but not \"standard weapons\", with many options of personalization (i have some ideas but I don\'t write them here), and I think that a level on skills will be nice... for example: one person ho is weak can\'t use (well) a big weapon :)
- I want moooooooooorreeeeeeeee weapons!!!!
- I think that it wood be fantastic if you can make your house in the forest, or in the desert, or in the city....
To summarize I say that for me a more \"complete\" game, with more options and personalizations in all the ability will be more fun and intresting
- For the magic: I think that it wood be great if there will be some powerful magic that can be maked only with some strange \"objects\"
- Why don\'t make the map bigger; much bigger?
Aniway I think that this is a great game :)

I haven\'t seen anything about movement enhancements. I play with the linux client so I don\'t know if this is available for the windows client or not.

What i would like is something where I don\'t have to hold down the arrow key to move or the shift key to run.

I would much prefer a mouse driven movement. IE, I click a location in the distance and then highlight it, then right click my mouse and it gives me the options to do the following:

1. walk there
2. run there
3. attack there
4. loot there
5. build there
   
This would improve the overall experience for the user, allow for multi-tasking such as walking to a location and helping somebody out over chat or checking your skills, equipment, and so forth.

I notice when fighting you attack with the hand that is used to hold your shield so this could make things confusing.

You guys could fix this by switching the weapon and shield thing around or make it you you attack with your weapon hand.

What ever is easyer to do to fix it.

I think, there is nothing new for pen and paper DM. But when I see all topics in this section, I gess it can help while a lot of people have mostly played on computer game and/or mmorpg and pen and paper rpg is not like a \"classical mmorpg\".

I have a wish. And that is that characters are impervious to attack during a loading sequence (I know, I could just use \"loadallmaps\" but this will be beneficial to those who have computers who can\'t handle having all maps loaded.)

Not long ago I was travelling toward Hydlaa, and while loading the next zone, I was slaughtered by the rogue nearby (i think he began moving  toward me just as i entered the transition point, and due to the loading screen I could neither defend myself or fight back.)

Needless to say, I was not happy to find myself in the death realm.

Edit: Sorry Kary, I didn\'t realise it was a bug. ^-^

Maby a way to dim down the graphics a little... like like 2D or anything 3D is great but just for the little slower computer, make like a different client download that has less requirements but can play with everyone like normal =)

The game is meant to be a full 3D MMORPG.. :) Working on another client with different graphics is just too much work right now, or at any time. You wouldn\'t ask any other MMO to build a whole new client for slower computers - it\'s expected that if you want to play large 3D games, you have to upgrade. There are always little choices here and there you can make to tone down graphics, but nothing magic.

I just don\'t see the team working on something like this, when they already have so much to do.
