Hello everyone. I\'m running Windows XP with 256 mb ram, a nvidia geforce2 mx/mx 400 64mb, and a 1.4 gig AMD Athlon processor. Now that the specs are out of the way, I installed CS and Planeshift, and I finally managed to create a character and get the world initialized, but it\'s running incredibly slow. I get the message that there\'s no cel environment variable set, and I think that may be my problem. If anyone could help me get cel set up on windows xp (home ed., if it makes a difference), I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

1 Word: Search
Please!
But, becaues im in good mood, I will tell you this:
Everybody has that \"lag\" (Except Xordan, me and a few other)

No that\'s not the problem. What do you mean by incredibly slow exactly ? I have athlon2000, 512ram, gf4mx and it\'s still not very smooth.
-
Well, when I say slow it\'s like, every step I take skips majorly...sometimes there will be a long skip that takes 5-10 seconds before I\'m able to move again. I don\'t know if that\'s normal or not. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

You should at least get 256mb more ram and a better gfx card like a gf4, then it should work better on your comp ;)

It was working with 256mb, not pretty but usable.

Okay, I\'ve been meaning to upgrade and I\'ll have a new box within a couple weeks, so that\'s good timing. Thanks guys. =)

Now theres the next question:
Is the program slow because its lagging or cause my Graphic Chip is not good enough?
As I posted in the WhiteScreen Thread i got an Asus Notebook with 512Mb Ram (inclusive Video Ram) an Athlon 2500+ mobile processor and a SIS video chip.
My Internet connection is a 768Kbit down/128Kbit up
DSL connection.
In System settings I can\'t find a word about openGL so maybe it is not even supported by this Video chip - could that be possible?
