Title: Everytime I try to connect it says server not active...

After I create my character, and click uplink or w/e, it dosen\'t. Then I tryed connecting, and it said that the server wasn\'t up or something.

Also, I cannot make certain races (Both elfs, 1 dwarf, ect.), which annoys me--I downloaded v 2.10 or w/e.

do I need something to get them and have a connected server?

PLEASE HELP
