Title: FairyLand.com.my Any good?
Post by: Rageburst on March 26, 2004, 11:31:37 am: I\'ve discovered this game here that looks pretty decent, and is supposedly free too. Has anyone tried it? Opinions?

I liked Ragnarok Online despite it being boring sometimes (which is good since the more addictive a game is, the more harmful it becomes).

Edit.... hmmmm, not sure if it\'s free though....

Post by: Moogie on March 26, 2004, 11:41:44 am: I used to play Fairyland. It\'s almost exactly the same as Monster & Me except it has majorly \'younger\' graphics. You know, 3d-made-2d sprites comprised of simple shapes and flat colouring, and very cute for a young audience. Apart from that, it held my interest for a couple of weeks before it got boring.

[Edit: Ya it\'s free... free beta, like the rest of them. For now.]

Anyway I tried Fairyland but could never get it working so I gave up. I found Knight Online (http://www.knight-online.com.my/) though. Not bad if you\'re looking for a hack-and-slash with good graphics.

dont worry.... ill let you download it off me from dc++ once i get adsl in about 3 days :)

i hate unreal tournament 2004 the first UT was good but 2004 is just pathetic. it needs massive tweaking
plus the assault levels on it are just plain stupid. plus they have made weapons that make other weapons apsolutly pointless. the vehicles are pointless too. as soon as you get in a vehicle you die. the bots have no view distance!
meh, enough ranting :P

but if you want a good game to pass time i would suggest gunbound. its like worms but different :P

and Syzerian have you ever flown a heli in dc ? anyway heavy vechs like the golith are big targets but they are fun to use also try the mantar (SP ?) and smash in to people :)

any 1 thinking of getting COH (city of heros) it sounds fun and the story line is nice sadly my chances of getting in to closed beta are as good as a snow ball in hell ... however if i get in ill proly call meself gun mage and do it john woo style ( is there any way better ?)

As for FairyLand, any good? Is my anus any good? That should answer your questions. I used to play, like 4 months ago. Got to like lvl 40, got damn bored, and quit, I was pretty rich too, used to hang out with those crazy Koreans.
Decent game, for like a month.

I usually stop playin games when I get bored :D. Many \'WHACK MMORPGs\' seem nice at first but turn out to be really really boring.

This CTF server is ok, too many players usually but, it\'s a riot and fun: 69.31.6.177:7777

This ONS server is very good. Xtreme prejudice |XP| runs it, no racists/sexists/fools allowed, and the XP players are like pro level but don\'t care if you are not. They never insult new players: 12.37.142.60:7777

That\'s true. DL the UT2k4 demo. It\'s really sweet. The graphics are not as nice as the full game version but they rock anyway, high art compared to most of the RPG\'s being talked about here. Lots of demo servers are still up, too.

Well thats just your opinion, which counts for nothing to me! The game rating is sky high so your opinion proves to be nothing more then someone who is madd because they suck at the game!

Every guy who tries UT2004 but doesn\'t play long enough to learn the basic controls says the same thing as you, Syzerian.

DepthBlade hit the nail on the head. :))

The vehicles in UT2004 handle way better than Tribes 2 vehicles. Just hop on and start slaughtering people.

If anyone was interested RYL seems to be like any other MMORPG with bad translations and bugs nothing even close to being original, shocked eh? :rolleyes:

First of all, the game is free.
That is most important factor :)
I love the events GMs put together, it gets people together to fight as a group.
The graphics in the game are awesome. Weapons, armor, items are all great. Hopefully PS will become nearly as good in graphics as Knights Online.
I love the trading system, merchants, party system, etc.

cons:
Yes, the game lacks quests, although don\'t get me wrong, there\'re plenty, PS will probably be larger in that sense.
There\'s no job system. No smithing, etc.
The scroll upgrade pis.ses me off.
But that is bout it :)
