Title: Forgotten Realms Novels
Post by: vector212 on March 27, 2004, 05:15:35 am: I am a Dragonlance novel fan... but recently I\'ve run out of books that I really find any interest in reading so I\'m thinking of moving over to another huge series of Fantasy novels... but the problem with Forgotten Realms is that I haven\'t a clue where to start. In Dragonlance there was were clearly marked out novels which were essentual to the reading and understanding of other novels and a clear chronology... I haven\'t found the same in FR yet... are there any FR fans here who know what order I should read these novels in?

Check out the other post about Fantasy books, there are a lot of opinions there. I would suggest the Shannara series, Magician series, and maybe the Belgariad and Mallorian series.

I like the Elminster books though. They\'re great. :)

Really... so nothing really exactly earth shattering... or world changing happens in the books? I guess any I\'ll go and pick up the cheapest series I find, if it\'s all the same lol
