Hi, i am an 3D modeler and character animator from england (currently learning the finer art of uv mapping), studing for a 3D animation degree.
I was wondering how i could get involved with helping this game develop, i use maya, PS, ultimate unwrap3d and 3dmax (but i really don\'t like it since i have been using maya)
I have a few samples but if the dev team would like to set me a week challenge then that would be fine as well.
Hope to hear from you soon
Chris

Exept if for for any specific reason you can t connect to irc , i STRONGELY recommand you to join the channel i talked you above, it s very active, and devs drops here at less once a day, you will almost be able to find an offical dev 24/7( the ops are devs , the voiced are wtb members).
If you never used irc before i sugest you to use Xchat ( either on linux or windows) , it s more intuitive than mirc , and more user friendly , also colored nicks are nices.
If you do not favor irc, then .... wait or try again , perhaps he got spammmed with ads and deleted your mail.
What i can tell you is that the devs will surely ask for a portfolio, so you can try to put together some of your low polygones work, also as a prove of good will, you could try to export a simple map with the max exporter. Well also character creation is VERY hard ( well perhaps not that mutch for a professional ), so better try to make a simple map first and see the limits of the engine , before trying to make an animed character.
If you need some ressources, click on my sig, i did a complete site on how to create content for planeshift , if you find anything missing , tell me , i ll add it.
