The guild is not ready to be started yet...but heres a taste of what is to come. What is needed right now is someone interested in working with the homepage.
Right now there are only classes but I am working hard on creating a good rank system that will be based on each class. (two characters could never have the same rank). The Red Monk and The Rolling Monkey are both taken...sorry about that. Please let me know what you think about it, and feel free to ask questions.
I would apreciate, if you are interested in joining, that you send me some info about you and why you should get the position.

A tribute to Shadowhand
Loved by his friends and feared by his enemies, Errion was always respected. Not only was he one of the best rogues in the land of the azure sun but he had also a great personality, which made him many friends. When he decided to create the secret rogue society of Shadowhand he knew what he was getting into, that it was going to be a hard job keeping the members? identities unrevealed to the public. What he didn?t know by then was that keeping this secret would cost him a close friend, that in the end proved to be nothing but a pathetic spy.
I remember the day when Shadowmancers true identity was revealed. Errion was crushed, he who was always so merry. I had never seen him so sad before, and we had known eachother for quite some time.
Not only had he been stabbed in the back by a brother but he had also lost the guild that had taken him so much time and effort to build up.
The secrets revealed, the Shadowhand could never again become what it once was. It was nothing but an indistinct dream in the minds of the ex-members, and what good is a dream that could never be fulfilled. The members had all lost their secret identities and could no longer operate as spies. Most of them decided to head towards new destinations, hoping to be able to start a new peaceful lifee, while others decided to remain with their leader that they for so long had followed. But Errion was tired of being the leader. He too, wanted to forget and start a new life somewhere else. So the group that had been together for what had seemed forever, split up and began walking the new paths they had chosen. And it was so that the tale of the Shadowhand ended leaving behind only ashes of a broken dream.
I am Tybalt, one of the few loyal men who followed Errion to the end. As a friend of Errion?s and an ex-member of the Shadowhand, I swear that the impostor that goes by the name of Davis, will suffer the punishment for his treachery. And know that any person that dares try to stop me on my mission shall suffer as well.
Classes:
The concept of the class system is that every member has his own speciality, that he is the only one to have. The class will be used as the players pseudo in-game and on the forums. Nobodys perfect and neither are these characters so they all have a flaw. To keep each class unique they are supposed to be roleplayed in the greatest extent possible, The Red Monk for example is not allowed to learn many rogue skills because this would make The Black Cat quite worthless. The members depend on eachother and complete eachother. Because only one person can have a certain rank recruiting will be done through competitions.

The Red Monk: This character focuses on mastering the martial arts. He fights with his fists and feet using gloves and boots as his only weapons. He rarely wear armor as it tend to slow him down. He worships a god which is a part of his energy, called ki. His main stats are will and agility, which makes him very good at swimming and climbing. He is no strong fighter but he knows where to strike. His inner tranquility, can be conpared to no other and makes him resistant to different types of magic and poison. Because of his religion he is not allowed to enter any pleasure house like a tavern or a bar.
The Psy Bolt: This archer is extremely accurate and powerful when mastering the art of psy-archery. By charching her mind energy into an arrow the archer can provoke great damage to the opponent.
This archer also tends to know how to cast spells but only has the ability to focus on one way of spellcasting. Her main stats are dexterity and will which are both used for the archery skill. The high will also makes the mind archer very resistant to magic and a good groupleader.
The Black Cat: An exceptional rogue that likes to move quickly while hiding in the shadows. Even though he functions perfectly as a scout he also knows how to get the job done by himself. He can, without being noticed, infiltrate enemy buildings to retrieve important documents or items, or even use weapons coated with poison to backstab targets that need to be wiped out. His main stats are dexterity, for good use of light weapons, and agility for climbing walls and infiltrating buildings. His character fault is that he is jinxed which can sometimes make life hard for him and people around him.
The Dark Coat: Of all the dexterious characters, this is the most accurate one when it comes to weapon mastering. He uses mostly throwing weapons that he keeps hidden on the inside of his coat. Because he can pull out anything from a dart to an explosive potion it is impossible for the enemy to prepare for the attack. The Dark Coat is a good alchemist and makes his own deadly potions to throw at this enemies. His main stats are dexterity, for throwing, and endurance, to be able to stay at an appropriate distance from the enemy.
The Rushing Bull: This berserker is the complete opposite of the red monk when it comes to the state of mind. This person loves to run into battles by instinct swinging a weapon over his head while using his speed and strenght to push down enemies. He likes to use crushing or blunting, heavy, weapons like hammers and clubs that he blindly swings towards his enemies. He also tend to wear medium armor so that he can survive the blows that are dealt in close encounters while still being able to move around quickly. His main stats are strenght, for powerful attacks, and endurance, to resist more damage. Being so unfocused all the time makes him less resistant to some magic.
The Rolling Monkey: This character is a type of swashbuckler that is incredibly agile. He jumps, climbs and rolls around in combat like a true pirate fighter. His favorite weapons are the dual swords which he controls like if they were part of his hands. He spins them around changing the grip all the time to confuse the enemy, striking with incredible speed. Because he loves to fight, this pirate mostly deals slashing attacks making sure that he only wounds the enemy. This way he can injure the enemy step by step until it cannot fight any longer so he can finish him off with beauty. His main stats are agility and charisma, which he uses to charm the ladies. The problem is that his flirting tend to provoke some people, especially men.

It doesn\'t need to be a big guild. It seems the only mission is revenge on Davis (can\'t blame them).
RedMonk what if no pvp exists in CB? And when you\'ve revenged SH what is the next step?

Like they say...its not the quantity, but the quality that counts. Anyway, 6 ranks is what exists now at the creation. Maybe youve noticed there is no real mageclass for example...there are more things to come like maybe The True Magi and The Grey Shark.
The goal is to make the guild evolve and change all the time. Im sure that on the way to killing Davis we will get new goals.
I am the representant and founder of the guild...but Im no leader taking all decisions. When the group is formed we will take our decisions together.
And for that PvP question...Draklar has comfirmed

Only as a challenge-accept system right? I don\'t think Davis will agree with a fight when faced with 6 angry guildmembers.

guildwars and duels in CB... that\'s what I heard from Venge. But somewhere else you can read something about free pvp zones for quests and so on... if it\'ll be implemented in CB... I do not know.

The merchant guild could make profit by selling tickets or drinks/food during the fight. Pleas announce the fight when it is planned so everyone who wants to can be there :)
You should challenge Davis publicly so he won\'t dare to reject ;)

Sure, while that may be true, they only need one victory. This is a battle for honor, not for glory or for spoils. At least. that\'s how it looks to me...
Also, it seems less like a true guild than a group of elite soldiers fighting for one supreme goal: to exact their vengeance over a great fallen warlord.
Seems like a great cause (and a great idea), I\'m not sure if I can find a RP motivation to join or support you, though... Not that I\'ll get in your way, for that matter...

Anyway...Dont see my post as a war declaration. I was just thinking out loud...if you can say that in a chat.
But if it proves the Cabal are behind all this then It would be a pleasure to have you by my side Elegrand. Your skills in the ways of magic could come in handy :)
Ive worked a little more on the guild construction...here\'s whats new!
Alignment: Ashes is a gathering of different characters with different personalities and also different alignments. No matter alignment, each member must stay loyal to the guild and do their best to reach the common goal. Religions are free for all, but should not be implied on other members.
Ranks: There are many ranks and titles, for the members of Ashes, to obtain. Some are prestige titles and are based on a players alignment and deeds, while others are ranks that are different for every class. Unlike the ranks, titles can be occupied by several members at the same time.
Once in a while, trials will be held where one member is given a mission, with a deadline .When the mission is completed a voting is held where all members must agree to promote the player, for it to gain a rank.
Then a ceremony is held, ingame, where the promoted player must fight all other guild members in a friendly battle.
I\'ve done a complete ranking list consisting of 5 ranks per class. I\'ve chosen to keep them to myself because I think that the curiosity of what the next rank may be will encourage the members to be active.
Here\'s a little taste.
Red Monk starts as \"Flyweight\"
Dark Coat as a \"Desperado\"
and Rushing Bull as a \"Savage\".
I\'ve also added prestige titles...one example is the \"Don Juan\". Maybe you can figure out that one for yourself. ;)

First of all...I want to make it official that the Cabal are a new guild enemy...not because of their alignment but because of their actions. Spehk is the first spy on the list (after davis of course).
Hopefully they will prove to be a worthy enemy even though their clan is falling apart right now...the discovery of a spy...the loss of a leader...the war with the defenders (allied to mirth)...and simply the fact the only members they got are players that no other guild wants.
And about judging Davis...I repeat. Davis, you will be punished because you betrayed a friend and spied on SH while being in Mirth. Even if you or the cabal had no plans of letting the list come out, you know that Yann could never keep SH going. If you, his close friend, could spy on him then why wouldnt you be able to blackmail him as well?
I don\'t think that all people of SH should judge Davis though...A spy is a spy whether he calls himself Shadowmancer or Annah...Davis is hated and Annah applauded, which is not fair.
An attack against SH and Yann is an attack against me. This is the only reason why I\'ve decided to take the matter in my own hands.
Anyway, this is the guild forum of Ashe, the new cool guild in town, :) and I dont want this discussion to continue, at least not here.

Nope Ionas...I which it was so. Errion is planning to join another guild. Only time can tell which one. Im pretty sure that whatever guild he chooses to join will be a friend of Ashes.

I\'ve made another decision. I am not to decide who is and who is not a guild enemy. Spehk, and the Cabal are my enemies and I count on the fact that my fellow guild members (member for the moment :)) will help me in my mission of killing them one after one.
From now on, each member is allowed to have his own goal but its up to the other guild members to decide whether it should be a goal for the whole guild.

By getting hold on information that was restricted to SH members, you became a SPY! Now read this, a 100 times if necessary until you understand what I mean. And then you can go apologize to Yann. And then you can come meet me ingame when CB comes...

I was not employed by anyone but myself. I was not in Shadowhand to obtain secret information. Shadowhand is not my enemy.

So your saying a spy in the cabal is a bad thing then no? if your all so aint spy why should those of you who spy and/or spyed on the cabal be left out of this? your all equaly guilty of spying and all should equally be killed by this guild no? the fact that everyone spys on everyone is a problem yes but going around in a big bandwagon shouting \"we gonna burn j00 spys\" aint going to stop them. stop all useing davis as a scapegoat for this situation work on making your guilds more secure from people or something.

I am not against spys, I am against alt. accounts. If someone wants to be a spy, go for it, just do not create alt. accounts. It will ruin the community and we will end up as bad as runescape\'s community (i.e. no community)

Maybe they should start registering by the persons IP address as well that way you can\'t get multiple accounts and if you tried to change your IP address you lose your original account!

I dont think that the cabal will care about a scapegoat...After the Davisproblem is solved I will take care of theml, and hopefully I wont be fighting alone.
Some people are not to be bargained with...When it comes to the Cabal, I think I\'ll let my fists speak.
Or what do you think, members of the Cabal...is there any other way to solve this?

...the point was, its likely not possible, and multiple account shouldn\'t be blocked, i see some shine in davis\' argument, for i too play multiple chars(one other) but i dont leak or steal info, i mearly play the part of my character, in fact, once CB comes out i\'ll likely merge tocharacters to make the story of Druke/??? more fitting

Why hire when the guild can get free friends and allies? Don\'t waste the money on mercenarys when you can have alliances with guilds for free for long periods of time!

I have just become aware of this, because I\'ve been very busy. I will talk to Davis and try to determine what has been happening. And if I decide that what he has done is un-Mirthful he will be removed from Mirth. (If all that you are saying about him is true, he WILL be removed.) I will not pass judgement on that until I have talked to him, however.

EDIT: Ah, you edited. Anyway, there\'s no need to remove me, I removed myself for an indefinate period of time, though my announcement seems to have mysteriously dissapeared and my deleted count mysteriously gone up... anyway, if you want to talk to me, go on MSN whenever you are online.

Well, I can understand that you would want to have revenge on someone who you believe toppled your guild. It is certainly understandable, though whether Davis did or did not do so will probably never be known for certain. Still, the human urge for revenge is strong.
I was under the impression that duels must be consented to by both sides, so I don\'t think you\'ll be able to do much to Davis unless he lets you. Regardless, er... Have fun, I guess. That\'s what the game\'s about, after all. 8)

I don\'t know if Davis deserved to be removed or not (I did not delete your announcement btw), but it is great to see a guild leader who takes steps to protect the reputation of the guild. Good luck to all involved.

I know that guilds can sometimes be busy and will not always have, helping my guild, as their first priority. Mercenaries are hired to fight and that\'s what they do! Thanx for the tip anyway depthblade...and watch out so you dont make the mercs go bankrupt and forced to shut down...cuz we never know when well need them.
No more discussing about Davis for now. I will let you know when the big confrontation is going to be held, so that the merchant guild can prepare, and maybe the AGES guild would be interested in entertaining the people of Yliakum on the big day? Just an idea...

I have no intention of bankrupting the mercenary guild, I respect them full heartingly! Just in your case this is a new guild with good intentions but with little or no money in your pocket? Take the free alliances before paying for help :)

Aye i agree with venge that it is noble of pint to back up davis.
And just to clear up this mess I officially accept the charges for having engineered the collapse of the SH. I didn\'t want to kill. I wanted to have it, but it died in the process. I am sad but am not sorry. Yann knew that i was the one behind all the mischief in PS. He is broadminded and wise fellow and sees why I did what I did. That auran is dead now but if you still wish for revenge I welcome you to try and get it.
I am just tired of this speculation. I did it. Do what you will.

Background:When he was a little baby, Tybalt was found in a forest by Dermorians. They took care of him like their own child but lost interest in him when they got a child of their own. Tybalt was tied up and locked down in a basement where he was given practically no food at all, just enough to survive. One day, after being locked up for several months, he woke up with his shackles unlocked and the door to the upper floor, open. When he got up he came upon a bloody mess. His \"family\" had been murdered in a very brutal way, but he didn\'t care, cause he was finally free. He left the house in a hurry, and the sun burned his eyes that had not encountered a glimpse of light in a very long time. He heard a male voice who introduced himself as \"Pein the God of torture\" and explained that he was behind the murder of his family. As a tribute to his savior, Tybalt decided to become a follower of Pein, also known as a Red Monk. He now had two goals in life, to become the first blind master of martial arts and to kill any person comitting evil deeds, by torturing them to death.
Character: Tybalt is an Enkidukai who is lawful evil, because of his love for torture.
He\'s got long hair coming down a little over his face and and behind it reaches to his shoulders. He doesn\'t like to show his heritage (since his adoptive family made him hate his race). So, even though he is an enki I want his face to look pretty human (there should be a lot of shadow over it). I want his eyes to be red and there should be almost like blood running from them, so that everybody can see that he is blind.
His skin (fur) color is grey but you dont see it very much. He always wears a red robe that was given to him by Pein. He doesn\'t wear any heavy armor to stay as agile as possible.

Ashes are looking to recruit a Black Cat.
The Black Cat: An exceptional rogue that likes to move quickly while hiding in the shadows. Even though he functions perfectly as a scout he also knows how to get the job done by himself. He can, without being noticed, infiltrate enemy buildings to retrieve important documents or items, or even use weapons coated with poison to backstab targets that need to be wiped out. His main stats are dexterity, for good use of light weapons, and agility for climbing walls and infiltrating buildings. His character fault is that he is jinxed which can sometimes make life hard for him and people around him.

ehurm...sorry bout that...Except me, RedMonk, theres a Black Cat, Psy Bolt, Rolling Monkey and a new add, The Grey Shark.
This new character is a non-fighting healer that flies unto the battle field to heal his allies. When the job is done he leaves quickly and hides in any way he can. Because he can breathe underwater he can hide almost anywhere. (Most probably played by a Klyros)
I can\'t believe that nobody has asked to be a Dark Coat yet. It\'s a really cool character that is well adapted for PS. (Check out the first post for description)

Thanx, i\'ve reconsidered the pm you sent me a while ago. Perhaps i can create a second slightly evil character.
If there is still a position in ashes, maybe the dark coat, and you still want me to join this character could enter the fastest growing guild of PS.
I must however for you decide anything do say that i won\'t play PS for at least a while because of a download limit.
BTW i read the background of Tybalt, im not the only funny guy around here. :)

Im really glad to hear that Ionas! ;) Don\'t feel pressured by the fact that I want a Dark Coat...just send me a PM with some info about you and how you, really,would like your character to be. Then we might have to do some adaptations if it\'s really to similar to another class. Ashes got a new member about a week ago who wanted to be a healer. Since there was no such class in Ashes we created one together. We could do that to if you want...Send me your info and Ill send you my MSN.

Heres the deal! I plan to make the Ashes guild story a neverending story...When Our rightful revenge is taken I will change the guild story and make the Davis event something belonging to the past, just like I described the fall of SH like something old. Then the new guild goals will be presented at the end of the guild story. This way, all important events in the history of Ashes will be documented for anyone to see. :)

I considered joining because it looks like a well-organized guild, started by a former Shadowhand member... but when you think about it, it\'s really not possible. Though the guild isn\'t devoted to revenge, it\'s a major part of it. In all seriousness though, there was no seriousness, so...

Psy Bolt was wondering trought the woods of PS when it comes to his attention a scared squirell. The squirell stops looks at him with it`s big freigthened eyes and in a matter of seconds 4 diaboli appear from thin air surrounding him. He takes the first 2 out, and he launches another two arrows for the other two, but when he turns around they were gone. He stays focused but nothin happends. He takes an arrow an shoots, as he heard some harshing from behind, but he realise that he has killed the little squirell. He feels a small pain running inside him .. and at first he doesn`t realised that he was wounded. When did that happened? ... he chants a healing spell but the incantation`s waves reveals to him the other two diaboli waitting for the right time to strike again. He finishes the incantation lookin` them straight in the eye, and one of them seems to realise that. As soon as he`s done with the spell he fires another 2 arrows in the exact place where he had seen the demons and one of them losses his invisibility hitting the ground with an arrow on the chest. The other one had escaped. The arcane archer tryies a clear sight spell, but it reveals nothin more... what were they up to? they never attack archers or swordsmen, cause they are afraid of the metal blades and arrows. He takes his leaves out of this war scene and continues his morning jogging :D :))) .. cheers mates :D

A story with no end
?Now, who suggested that we should go left?? said Tybalt who was standing in his fighting position, waiting to strike at the first enemy to approach him.
?No time for chit-chattin, my friend!? answered Colane who had already taken out his dual swords and launched himself into battle. Without hesitation, Tybalt charged towards the first Trepor he sensed, hitting the creature right in the eyes, using both his hands. An awful crying sound could be heard from the creature who started to move around like it had completely lost its sense of balance. Before the creature had even fallen to the ground, Tybalt had already struck his next target with a jumping heel kick that crushed the monsters carcasse.
There were Trepors coming from every direction of the large chamber of the cave and the two warriors had to use all their strenght and agility to hold the monsters back.
Tybalt could feel how his comrade was runnning across the room jumping on the walls, rolling around the floor, doing all he possibly could to avoid the Trepors? attacks. He could hear how the dual-blades never stopped spinning in the hands of their weilder, cutting through anything that came in their way.
The two fighters knew that this was an impossible battle to win as they could see how every Trepor they killed was replaced by two others. The best thing to do was to escape and they knew that even that would be hard. Colane ran up a pile of Trepors that had fallen victim for his blades, and looked around for an exit. He knew that there was a hole in the ceiling but that it would be impossible to jump that high. Behind the mass he could see the passage that had led them to this room and he figured that it was probably the only way out. He shouted:
?Tybalt!?, as he threw one of his swords towards the exit.
Tybalt, who was still fighting, could hear how the blade cut through the air and planted itself in the cave wall. With quick and well placed attacks he started to fight his way towards the exit, his robes being torn appart by Trepor claws. He could feel how the claws ripped through his skin leaving an endless amount of open wounds and it was then that he realized that it was all over.
Colane, who had lost most of his force, was trying to jump his way to Tybalt but there were too many trepors in the way and he could see how his friend started to fall down under the mass of monsters trying to get a piece of his flesh. All hope was gone and Colane knew that he wouldn?t be able to make it to the exit, especially not now that he had only one of his swords to defend himself with. He looked up towards the cavern ceiling, prepared to face his doom, when he saw what seemed to be an angel flying across the room, carying his friend Tybalt. The creature looked down at him and plunged towards him. Colane reached out his hand in a last desperate attempt to survive and he could feel how the angel grabbed it and pulled him out. He looked at Tybalt that seemed to be unconscious and then he looked down to see how the mass of trepors got further and further away from them.
Suddenly there was only light and Colane realized that this angel-like creature had managed to get them out of the cave. Even though he was very gently put down on the ground, Colane could feel how much his back hurt. He had probably gotten many wounds that he didn?t know about. When he turned his head he could see how the angel was holding his glowing, blue hands over Tybalts body. In a matter of seconds he could see how Tybalt woke up and stood up, looking like he had done just before they had entered the horrible fight.
?You are very lucky!?, said the angel who moved over to heal Colane.
?Only another few seconds among those monsters and you would probably have been dead?.
There was silence and Tybalt could feel how his savior concentrated to heal his comrade. Tybalt, who had never encountered a creature like this one, went close to it and started to touch the wings and face of his savior.
?I am Dyari?, said the healer. ?A klyros?. It was obvious from his reaction that he had understood that Tybalt was blind.
?What were you doing down there??, he said.

About the site, are the buttons supposed to be black with white text? And the sigs under members still overlap.

actually, yes. Redmonk has chosen this because of the banner that is also black / white.. in that case the buttons match.. but perhaps they will change some time later on :).
Why do you have overlapping sigs? are you on 800x600? then it\'s time to buy a better monitor :P

Okay then, just thought i might mention some possible flaws. And to be honest i found them better looking before.
Ive said it before, but i will say it again good work :), only dont say anything bad about my monitor. It and me go a long way of many grim adventures so im attached to it ;).

The black buttons with white text looked good in me head but less good on screen. I plan to change it, just dont know what to have instead so that it matches the rest of the site.

Maybe you can add some texture to it. The idea of black and white being primary colors is a good one.
Oh and Kada has put us in her tavern list, only a guild picture is still needed.
