i dont know how to make polls so iam asking if u people could write what clans your inyou might say this is a dumb most or a spam but i have nothing better to do as the demo is still not complete

I\'m not in a clan, and don\'t know if I want to be. But, I would like to know what choices I have if I do decide to join one...
So... on top of Mortis\' question of \'what clan are you in?\'

What kind of clan is it? (are you: evil, good, of one class of people [thieves, warriors...],etc.).

Well the hitman clan is a good clan of every race,
and lvl/class you should check at the clan page. The server may be down for awhile, but if you wait awhile it should be up today or tomorrow.

If i was new and wanted to join a Clan it would be the hitman clan, i joined and got all kinds of nice privaleges and cool stuff, JOIN!

They are getting slicker everytime they post something aren\'t they?
If someone is interested in joining an extremly good clan (with some exceptions) it\'s just to mail me and I send you the rules and all the explanations and all the background info.
You can qiut my guild anytime and you are not forced to join if you send me an message asking about the rules.

No guild for me yet, although Planeshift is sounding heavily guild orientated - which will be a really cool thing if done properly. I look forward to being a part of one in the future :)

well i hope u take a look at hitman clan when making a decision because we have put alot of effort into making our clan one of the best. I\'m sure you\'ll find our site alot better than others because unlike other sites we actualy have rules and cover news and stay active. Me, Tok & link are always on the lookout for new members and we are dedicated to staying active on the forums, Chatrooms and various other sites to bring u the most up to date news!
So far we have provided our members with A Faq that we got the devs to answer, Found out that other game sites where trying to down Plane Shift (GRR..) and We still are searching the forums ever ready and on the alert. Dedicated to getting the the hard to find details that only a crack investiagtive team like ours can. :)

Well, it seems as though i have just joined The Hitman Clan, notice the sig.
I hope this clan does well, not like some of the others ive been in :( which all turned out to fail like a fish in a microwave oven.

I hope u enjoy the hitman clan. Everyone in our clan should consider themselvs privilaged. Not only are we active but we are dedicated to getting the inside scoop on all things that have to do with ps.

All im saying is that the last few clans ive been in for any game have not lasted long or failed horribly. But I think hitman will do better.

well erhm
E.P.E. always has guild quests and contests, and further we also have the help each other part (what guild hasnt???), but another important thing of our guild is that we just hang out with each other a lot.. go on quests with each other and just have fun..
I hope other guilds will also do stuff like that, and not be power-only minded

We\'ve been told our clan is so good it should be a sin :D
but we are only interested in active members so if ur not gonna be active, don\'t bother applying !
But if u look at the site rules and realize u can follow them then come on and apply! :)

haha alcaliptis but i was refering to the clan rank.
originaly we where gonna make certain content on our site only available to certain lvl\'s of members. This is the guild ranking system. We figured we would make our own little system to promote member ranks :D
but we just decided to keep the ranking system and let all members view content. but there is a whole lot of stuff we have but won\'t/can\'t show or post on our site

I\'m pretty new here as you can see by my number of posts, but I was wondering how many of the guilds\\clans(you choose) are Plane Shift exclusive? Or for the one\'s that aren\'t, what games are your guilds\\clans from?

hmm.. well.. i dunno what guilds are planeshift only.. but i do know that EPE was a guild from other games...

yoyo a friend told me this was a good game. so I have cheked out some of the guild/clan sites.but none of them seem to have a real goal (or at least they don\'t say so on their site) It sure would be nice to know what a guild/clan is really trying to achieve before you join.

edit: I just cheked out all the guild sites. and only the charmed knights put some goa;ls on their page but it\'s just help all people(like kiern allready stated). no1 has set a real goal. if U start a guild there are a few things U should find out first
1. long term goals
2. short term goals
3. how are U goin to achieve this goals?
4. are U good evil neutral or none of these?
5. how do U recruit members?
6. how do members identify eachother?
7. how do they act around eachother?
8. is it a secret guild clan?
U should ask yourself these questions before U start a guild. right now all the guilds start out like:\" hey lets start a guild. yeah a good guild. yeah lets help people and lets help eachother\" so the guilds that exist now are all the same the only real diferrence is the one is good the other evil.
the BISM seems to have asked themselve these questions and sorted evrything out. and I also like the idea of an allround \"guild\" (I know U don\'t call it a guild) they just do the job itz cool. now if all of U other peepz ask urself these questions I am sure the guilds will get a style of their own!

hmm, although the hitman clan has alot of members in this forums (5!!!) and the charmed knights seem popular too, i just wanted to say the biggest clan in ps right now , is GDC - - >
The Golden Dragon Clan,
lead by Washi , and goes back along time (before planeshift even).

but for all of you guys going \"Wow , a huge guild, ill join it\" . . . relax. you cant.
you need to be trusted.
besides, a clan is not counted by it\'s size..

yeah but does the gdc have everything sorted out or are they just another clan that does good and helps the innocent. I mean people set goals!! being a clan isn\'t just havin a website and a nice sig under ur name. U must set goals try yo achieve something! not just be there and hang out together. I will only join a clan that has evrything sorted out and has goals. short term goals and long term goals.

First off the hitman clan has 9 fully active members.
just because only 5 post here doesn\'t mean anything the other 4 get there info from the hitman clan members area, because we provide our members with all the info an no bullsh*t.
Anyway u must not have checked the hitman clan faq.
all ur questions can be answered there.
and anyway i think the gdc is a joke. the other day i was talking to a dev who said there was some guy trying to get all the devs in a guild, but it was highly unlikely that any of the dev team would actualy be in his guild
further more the hitman clan is highly selective on who stays in the clan. just ask manga, and any other peolple we\'ve had to kick. we\'ve actualy had a few members that didn\'t stay...but we hope that anyone who wants to join will checkout the faq and if they think they can meet and follow these expectations/rules then we\'d love to have u :)

U have no real goals or rules. we\'re a good clan help eachother nothing more. no clan sets real goals or rules! or history for that matter. except for black order they have a nice history worked out altho I don\'t understand what they really plan on doin in game. then there is the golden dragon clan good guild blablabla help eachother. the mirth guild\'s site really suX there\'s nothin on there. The BISM have goals just do anything for money. at least they have a goal (not very original but a goal) people a clan has to have a reason to be!!! and they should rey to achieve something!!! (I am repeating myself)

Well, to answer the question which this thread is about, im a member of the E.P.E. clan/guild. And this guild wasnt start just for PlaneShift but it was started before PlaneShift for other games.

Me, tok and link spend alot of time to have our clans site be as good as it is. Not to mention the content that we work to provide our members.Why do u want to hate on us?
A clan doesn\'t have to have a reason to be. A clan is just there to help u, it\'s a group where u can get help in a game. Secondly all clan\'s or guilds are different especially the hitman clan. The hitman clan has been around for awhile it has survived many different types of games and incarnations of it\'self. the games, mostly fps\'s (halo, counterstrike,).

I\'m in a RTCW(Return to Castle Wolfenstein) clan. Well sorta. Clan TBAR. It\'s pretty hard to explain how I\'m \"sorta\" in a clan. If anybody want\'s to read how this is possible.. go here (http://www.clantbar.com/) and read the faq. It\'s a pretty cool story in itself.
We have about 60 known members too (alot more than that if we count everybody that has dissapeared). But at the moment I\'m the only one who has heard of Plane Shift that I know of.

I don\'t get it with this game and Clans that supposably have \"Goals\". What kind of goals can u have in a game that doesn\'t exist yet??? You stupid or soemthing? unless the \"goal\" is to take over PS, which is unlikelly, you can\'t HAVE a goal at the moment, all you can do, is try to make everyone comfterble and help each other if ya need it.
So enough with morons that have goals, you can say u want to be the best pker clan or something now, and it ends up that the game doesn\'t let pk\'s only arena battles.(just an example)
So think about it, join a Fruity clan with Goals that don\'t exist or join HITMAN CLAN!!!

How can you set a goal when they game is not out yet.
The only goal they could Posibly have is to be the best they can be, Help Members from there own Clan with Success... All those are dead Give aways that should not have to be put on paper..

Bad example as if you go to become President you have past Examples to work with. You have things that need to be picked up where they left off..
Now PS. There is no past History with it, There for you cant adjust from past Experances and cant pickup where others left off.

wxample U could say when the game comes out we are gonna be a bounty hunters guild or a mercenary guild a miners guild a \"whatever-the-hell-U-can-make-up-guild\" then U could say hey I don\'t want evry1 to know who are in this guild cuz they have to some undercover missions or U can say hey letsz all wear pink shirts(if ur in the hitman clan) so evryone can recognize us. and U can say ey people should adress any1 higher then them with sir! this and all of the other things I have Xplained a thousand times can be figured out even if the game isn\'t out!!!!!!

Why cant your goal be , playing the game , having fun with each other and thats it ?
I dont think a Guild needs to have a goal. Its up to them to decide what they want.
And if you dont like Guilds with no goal dont join them.
I dont say the Guild wich i am in wont have a goal, i just say if a Guild doesnt have a goal then let them having no goal. You dont have to join them.

Of course a Guild has to have a point to it. But all I\'m saing is now, that the game ain\'t out, there no point to make a goal, wen the game is out and your able to do whatever, like stats and fighting and crap. than then you can make a goal that you can keep.
The point of having a goal now, is stupid. There\'s a 80% chance that you will have to constaylly change the goal of your guild, or even have change everything your guild. Because of changes in the came that will come.
So besides helping your members, helping others. theres really not much of a goal you can achieve at this point.

I think it isnt really that your goal should have to be stuff like helping other people or just kill everybody or whateffah..
You can have such a goals, but i have to agree with tok\'ra that its pretty hard to have goals if you want such goals.. but i think that ofr example, making a guild with only hammerweilders in it is a goal. It isnt maybe what you expect from a goal. but i think it is something like it..
i hope you guys understand what i mean..
