Whats the difference between threads that have a red envelope beside them and the ones that have a blue one beside them.
-
Note: This is a question more adequete for the Newbie Help Forums (http://planeshift.oodlz.com/wbboard/board.php?boardid=1&sid=9441c403ed346fd4303d4bb375bf116f).
But to answer your question, the red envelopes indicate popular topics while the blue envelopes indicate less popular topics. By the \"popularity\" of a thread I mean the number of posts.
-
Thanx that clears that up but at what number of posts does a topic become popular?
-
5 if i remember correctly.
But why do you want to know that? :P ;)
-
So if i open a topic and post there 5 times it has become popular? hehe good to know :D. I thought a red envelope meant someone edited their post.
And how about those stars next to a topic? What do they mean?

No, it becomes spam and gets deleted. :)
Edit: Stars are the \'rating\' of the thread. Users can scroll to the bottom of the page and select to rate the thread according to how much they like it. An extremely unmoderated and unbalanced feature, but it\'s there regardless. :P

thanks Mogura, thank you very much, I was just posting while you moved this topic so I got an invalid data error and I need write my message again :(
Look the the bottom when your on the forum index, than you see what the icons for the forums mean. Click on a forum like Newbie Qestions, than look at the bottom to see what the icons for the topics mean.
I thought it was not 5 posts before a topic gets populair but something like 25 or this planeshift forum must be different than \"normal\" forums ;)
