I have started this thread because me and certain other people have become aggitated because people cannot pronounce our names precisely

please use proper english words or single letters

Can\'t use non-english letters? Meh, I could simply paste the way my nick is pronounced from Merriam Webster
Saint:
sAnt. The A is pronounced like the A in \'ace\'. (this part is actually taken from MW)
Nuclear:
ny-oo-klea-er (emphasison the nyook)
Edit: Heh, this thread actually is meaningful... Always thought Xanaroth\'s X is pronounced \'za\'
-
\"Ale\" as in, the delicious alchaholic stuff in kada\'s tavern ;) and \"yuh\" as in yuh huh. Simple right? Well maybe not >_> :P
Don\'t think I need to explain the princess part.
-
Aen-dar (Aen as in vein. Dar as in car) Cal-len-lasse (Cal as in pal. len as in pen. Lasse as in lassie)
-
Toadhead --> Thoaahhdd-hhheehhaahtth

bit lame coz in some languages you pronounce letters different
-
Luze = Lose
Not really that hard to find out, but in there might be different ways to pronounce it in other areas of the world.
-
yeah, typing is what matters the most, cause most of us wont be talking in any way with eachother different from writing.
-
Nice thread...I thought Luze was pronounced \"Ljooze\". My char name is Tybalt (red monk is my class) with emphasis on Ty...
-
Ehm who here ever pronounces character\'s names out loud? ?(
Anyway, Skizzik, erm...
Skiz not like in \'ski\' or \'sky\', but with an i like in \'bit\'.
zik like \'sick\' only with a Z, so that\'s \'zick\'.
Weird thread... :P

-
Wedge Antilles is easy, so forget that.
Tycho combinant of Tyrant and Psycho apparentley. Annunciated Tie-Ko. Celchu is a bit up in the air, I\'d go with Kel-Ku though, coz\' Shel-shu would sound dumb.
Tycho Celchu.
-
Wedge (wej) is easy but Antilles might not be.
is it An-till-es, An-till-ease, or An-tee-es?
-
I\'d say it\'s An-till-es, like the guy from StarWars:

Probably the best place, if anywhere, to introduce myself: My name is T?ri Tasart?r (pronounced Taa-ri Tas-ar-teer) and I hail from the uppermost city overlooking the great Lake of Yliakum on the seventh level. I am a female Nolthrir, a merchant whos main business interest consists of the fine delicacies to be found in the waters of my home. I am visiting Hydlaa recently in search of good trade, and to sell off some surplus goods before they turn bad.
I also enjoy a little roleplay. :)
-
Draklar... umm... Drak-lar ?(
