Title: Free running !
Post by: snow_RAveN on May 17, 2004, 07:34:34 am: any one ever see some guys run on the top of buildings and jumping the gaps ? jumping off at least 1.5 storys roll and keep running in RL ?
its an amazing sport and we have been doing it in ps by running on the roof tops near the tav

another dose of near-usefull information ! near-usefull info a phrase a day keeps the laywers away !

If you ask me though It\'s kinda stupid...
I mean how do you pracitce for something like that without having to wait 6 months for both of your legs to heal before you can try it again.

Why people do things so stupid baffle me...

The basic idea was we started at one end of the road and had to get to the other corner the fastest, however the fastest route was through ppls gardens, over walls, sometimes even roofs, on several occasions bursting through someones house and out their back door.....

just thought id share that with u =)

He managed to get a back flip in before he smashed into the curb on the road and went to have his arm set and his head stitched up. Funniest thing I saw for a long time?except for these two brothers that where fighting and decided to settle it by seeing which one could take the most kicks to the groin 8o
Craziest thing we used to do was tree hopping. We hade this big forest behind us and we used to climb the trees (into our ?fort?) and try to jump from one tree to the next. I hold the record at seven :)

Post by: Kintall on May 17, 2004, 09:44:10 pm: Me, when i used to live in Sydney, thers sthis big avenue of huge fig trees that go all the way across Hyde park, and I used to see how far I could get from one end to the other without touching the ground, I eventaly knew the way across so wellI could allmost run it (a brisk pace) so one morning I decided to do it at full tilt (this is about 20 meters up btw) luck would have it that same morning they were flming the morning aerobics, just below the half way point, I ran over and heard them all do what must have been the best double take in history, my friend saw it on telly that morning ( he likes the women aerobics because he\'s a sodding letcher) and nearly choked on his wheat bix :)

I\'ve heard it became an urban ledgend that was far more spectacular than what I actually did :)

P.S about a month later I fell out and dislocated my knee shoulder and hip and peed blood for a month :) I didnt do it again, ther are some cool looking things that are STUPID :P

Friend o\' mine was always the mage in the group when we pretended to run around shooting aliens, terrorists, foreign fighters & such. He has D & D and no-one to play it with, I tried to get him to come here, but pre-alphaness....

@ darklar: ya know the place up the twin tower road its kinda close to the tav its kinda of the only place you can do that with out haveing to super glitching for half an hour

I know like 6 different ways to get on top of roofs and I don\'t mean glitching :P
using towers is only 1 way... now go and find others :]
