Title: Tavern Renovations

As you may or may not know (or care :P), Cad and I have been working hard on making some updates to my tavern site. We?re now happy to say that we?ve reached a stage where we?re happy to open it up to everyone, and invite you all to come share a drink with us to celebrate!

I\'m sure some of you will be pleased to hear that the forum is finally open for business again. If you were a patron there previously your login details will be the same, but if you?ve forgotten your details the password recovery should work. If you have any further problems then please feel free to send me a PM or email and we\'ll hopefully sort things out. If you are a new visitor, then I?ll look forward to seeing at the bar, first drink courtesy of the house ;)

Over the coming months, my tavern staff and I, hope to continue to add further features. If you have any suggestions or comments, I\'d love to hear what you think.

Aaah, yes. This style looks much better. Although the old one was good, this exceeds it. :)

I just have one problem with the site.(not the layout) No more stories by Kendaro!!! I know that he doesn\'t write them anymore and I know that he isn\'t here anymore. But, I still liked reading his stories on your site. Even though I read each one over 50-100 times... :P But, that is just a personal thing, I guess. Probably no one else noticed the disappearing of these. Lol, oh well. The site is still great and I am glad it had a \"remodeling tune-up\" :)

EDIT: Jeez, these keyboards are too small. With being tall, your hands get bigger(nothing nasty :P) and you hit more than one key at a time. Lmao. :P 8) For you remedial people, that means I had lots of typos...  :rolleyes:

Is anyone else as relieved as I am to see that Kada\'s hot pic is still on the homepage?  That alone makes it a tavern I want to hang out in. ;-)

yet you didn\'t notice that there are four good guilds? And I don\'t see Mirth members around... :P

I was thinking since it isn\'t Kada, then who is it? Is it a friend, family member, or a complete stranger? Also, if you know the person, could I get a phone number or something? :P Maybe an email adress, or a valid Messenger service in use by her. :P

yea yea, but ingame there is lots of trolls around and no one goes to tavern (and I need to guard the Temple of Steel :P). On irc fan chan.... well... Tepsu is op :P he\'s insane... even channel stats say so ;)

What I\'d like to see is some tavern chat where you could talk at the table with friends, having mug o\' beer in thy hand...

Thank you all so much for the nice comments and useful feedback.

It\'s good to hear that some of you want to see some of the old sections return, to be honest I didn\'t think people looked at those areas any more. We will work on including them in a nice, more organised way into the new site.

If you do want to refer to the old stuff (or are feeling nostalgic Pogo :) ), then you can access most of it from the link on the main page titled \'Old Tavern News\' - as that is just the old tavern pages.

It is such a bonus to have been able to preserve most of the old forum too! I have Cad to thank for that little gem :D

Interesting, if i have more free time i will visit the tavern. Im looking out to my free drink, do you also serve non-alcoholic drinks? Im certainly old enough to be allowed to drink alcohol, but i detest alcohol. For some reason its got a disgusting taste.
Oh wait on second thought, its not real, eyy serve me one beer please :D. Make it quick! ;)

try opening internet explorer and going to tools/internet options/security and adjusting your cookies bar...thats how I solved my problem

I think it has to do with a confirmation email.. Do you have to reply to one?  \'Cuz I never got one when I registered, and I think I remember it mentioning something about one...

I too had some problems logging in when using the dot tk URL. From what I understand (and  that\'s not very much ;)), Redmonk is right and it\'s to do with cookies.

Anyway try using this link to log in and see if you get better results, it should work fine for you:
