Title: Game Freezes when Initializing World

Hello folks,

I downloaded Planeshift, installed it and tried to create a character but had the database error, because my machine runs on Windows XP. Okay, I searched through the forum and set the compatiblity mode of this certain file which name i don\'t remember to Windows 98.

Then I created a new character and loaded it up successfully. But everytime i try to connect to the world it freezes while initializing the world.



Any suggestions?

For some people first time initialization can take up to two hours. It just takes patience :)
Next time it will load a lot faster.
