Title: Races ?. ETC

how many races will there be except for the current. and are there going to be races from other fantasy things, like elves orcs or maybe halflings ?

and will there be historic weapons like in LOTR the sword Narsil. if there will be that tey could have improvements or magic weapons could be neat to.

doubt anyone knows how many races there will be;
most likely there will be 12 player races;
there already are elves...
there won\'t be orcs and probably won\'t be halflings;

right now there will probably only be the races as seen in the  races (http://www.planeshift.it/setting_races.html) section of the website. There have been some minor rumors about addition races, but these wont be made untill PS is \"completed\".

About the weapons: there wont be weapons from stories/games/movies tough there will probably be some extremely rare weapons that can match their fame. But in real: nobody actually knows since we will get the first real view about combat-aligned items in the cb release, and untill then it will be just guessing.
