Title: Error when I try to install?

Ok, so I remember coming to this game about a year..probaly longer ago and downloading and getting and talking on the forums...etc...etc..

anyway it was too good of a game for my computer back then (an onboard VGA) I just got a new vidoe card and though...\"Hey what about planeshift\"

So thats my story. Anyway I came and redownloaded the 5 part and the assembler, but when i double click the run me first it goes to this error.

I dunno what to do about it? help me?

Wha?!? Tee-hee! This clearly shows that windoze knows exactly what it\'s doing! ;)
However, it might even be (somewhat) right (happens sometimes). Try opening a dosbox (by selecting MS-DOS prompt in start->programs). If this really is an OS configuration problem, this should give the same error, because the pre-installer (run me first) is only a batch file, executed by DOS.
In the dosbox, type \"exit\" and then hit \"enter\" to close it again.
It seems to be W95 or W98 you\'re using?
