What is up with the naked lady on the intro and on that diabloi or whatever race. I just don\'t see how you plan on pulling in more people with that type of material throughout your game. I am sad to say after looking forward to your games tech release, I will not be playing it till material like that is taken out. I can not by good conciense play that game. Thank you for reading this.

Jeez Mr. family guy - you need to relax some. Have you ever been to a pool or beach? What were the people wearing? - probably less than the woman on the startup screen.

I must admit the the first pic probably should be retouched a little. But on the diaboli female I don\'t see any problem.
For the first pic, it will be modified in the next release since many are pointing at this as a problem. We want to respect the sensibility and customs of everyone.
Probably the artist went 1cm too far with the cloth of the lady.

If the Tech Demo looks this good, Imagine how the final game would look like :D

eh....hate to point this out, but sadly things like that attract more people, not saying that i care, but i dont see anything wrong with the pictures they arent even CLOSE to being naked

Someone who doesn\'t play a game because a not even naked woman is visible on an art image.
Tell me your problem:
-do you get shocked because of it?
-do you get nightmares because of it?
-did you get a heart attack because of it?
-are you gay and don\'t like women?
-you think the woman on the picture is ugly? (which is NOT true)
No, I think I know what your problem is:

Oh, quit you\'re damn whining, yes, there is a naked chick on the intro screen, but you can\'t even see anything. And even if you could, so what? OH MY GOD, NOT A NAKED WOMAN, YOU HAVE WARPED MY FRAGILE LITTLE MIND! No one is hurt by seeing a naked woman. I remember my big thrill as a kid was looking at my dad\'s playboys. And I\'m not a serial rapist or anything.
The only reason you\'re even typing anything here is because you want to get attention. One of those people who takes offense at eveything to get attention.

Yea, Well the nose isnt what this dude is taking about. And I could care less about it.
Its the body that is drawing the most attraction. :D
If you find this game offending to you, Just dont play it. No one is forcing you to play it.
Or, Why dont you just go to
C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift\\Art\\BackDrop\\
And replace the Main.jpg with something that you like. Mabey a Micky Mouse.
And if that doesnt work, Just do the following...
Uninstall PlaneShift.
And no more Naked Ladies for you :D

It\'s really sad that nudity has been labeled so much as a \'bad\' thing in America, that even sensible, tasteful nudity (or in this case partial nudity) is taken perversely.
Having a prick like the starter of this topic for a dad could really make some people become porn freaks when they grow up.
I think the picture is very well done, (though I agree about the nose needing touched up). And that you should leave it as it is. And if you change it.. don\'t do it because you feel there is too much skin showing.
Censorship causes perversion.

Hmmmm If you ask me we shouldnt have to wear clothes, its just body parts... Clothes were originally made for Protection not because of perverts.

Well, I know it\'s true, lots of people in the US see nudity as a huge problem, but we shouldn\'t start generalising, it\'s not like everyone thinks the same about it.

The Planeshift team should take the stuff off the front. But they should make a place, like a building or something so that if you want to see that stuff, you can go there.

I don\'t see why that image should be removed. Come on - it\'s just the equivalent of a woman in her bathing suit. I don\'t think that the PS team should pander to people with odd hang-ups.
As an american I prefer to think of it as a problem with religious zealots rather than a problem with americans...
Unfortunatley there are too many high strung religious nuts in the US - and they give us all a bad name.

Why can\'t we show the human body without clothing? It doesn\'t even have to be sexual in any way. It\'s just ho we are. And if you think it is damageing to see a human as they are, without clothing, then something is wrong with you. Its not pornographic by any means. It may be intended to be a little sexy, but so what? There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with sex.
If you (anyone, not tearlach in specific) can\'t stand to see a naked person, even if the picture doesn\'t show anything society deems \"naughty\", then son\'t play.

put it this way, half the people that play ps are kids(me included). lets say your mom or dad walks in, accidently clicks on ps, and it loads with that lady on the front, how would they react, would they sit there and say \" o its ok\", or do u think they would delete planeshift and buy some internet crap to stop the kids from playing ps? i mean, its not only guys that play ps, do girls want to see that when they go to play the game?

urgh....if so many people really want to argue about this why doesn\'t someone just put up a vote?....and i for one don\'t really mind the pic...and i\'m only 12 too...

There should be a Nude Gallery in PS, like was said above, and you could click a warning saying that your are not objectional to the material, and when you go in you can take off your clothes and everyone can run around neked!

Talad is the project director and he has already said *in this thread* that the picture would be retouched in the next release and the offending 8 pixels cleaned up. I really don\'t get what everyone is still discussing this for.
