Title: possible guild idea...

I would like to make an all Dwarven guild ala \"The Dwarven Militia\" from Clan Lord, though I doubt any of you ever played that.

Primary pursuits would be beer, treasure, power, and general Dwarven stoicism and pride.

I have webspace to make a site, but I\'m not ready to invest the time if the only person interested is me. If there is any interest at all I will go ahead and try to throw something together.

Mmmm A dwarf army would be interesting they could be stealth cause u wouldnt see\'em coming :P

A good guild idea for dwarves would be a mining guild which protects the dwarven miners from mistreatment, etc...A union ;) I think it would be appreciated by the Miner Minority of Minor Miners, eh? :D

A Dwarf guild, that will be fun. I like Dwarfs they are my alltime favourite of the fantasy races.

But I dont think it is allowed to be in 2 guilds.
so I can\'t join.

I just started making my own smithing guild and I hope a lot of Dwarven smiths join.

I suppose this could be a good start of dwarven relations.

Of course dwarven relations are business relations ;).

You should move it away from the whole dwarf is a miner idea, should make these dwarfs be like cooks or archers lol Spice it up alittle, not every dwarf is a miner for instance gimli off lord of the rings he wasnt, instead he spent his days adventurering with the fellowship and in the end im sure he got all the salt pork and beer he could possible yearn for!

I like the idea of race-based guilds.  I myself run an Elven-only guild.  I feel it adds to the roleplaying aspect of the game as races do tend to culimate together in one place.  Not every race is prone to all-out acceptance of the other races.  It\'s not racist, it\'s natural.

One of the problems you will encounter, though, is getting people to join.  Getting people to join any guild is a tough matter, but limiting possible candidates to a certain race cuts the number of applicants drastically.  But with future releases and with more people in PS it will be sure to catch on.  Just remember, and this is true with any new guild, it could take weeks to get even one member.  And months before you have a substantial amount.  The key is to be patient and not to give up.

 Yes, he can stay at the plaza mass recruiting Dwarven Noobs :P. Maybe he can get lucky like Bloodclaw and Blitzers and get great members by mass recruiting.
(Not saying this guilds still mass recruit)
But since it depends on luck be ready to wait a bit until you get a good solid guild.

Its been tried many times in the past to make a dwarf only guild, and its never prevailed. but i wish u the best of luck with ur guild! because dwarves kick beanie babies!
