well i want to know how the pk or pvp system works in this game could someone explain it i did not see anything that i really understood

Ha, I was going to point you to a definitive place where someone has already explained, but I could find anything! So, here\'s my own interputation.
First of all, there is no fighting in the current demo, MB. Soon, CB will be released, and it will start the fighting- but wheither PvP will be implented right away or not is still unknown.
Eventually, there will be limited PVP. players can offer to duel each other, and if the second party accpets, they can now go at each other. Also, entire guilds can offer duels, but since there are many people going at it, there are some details they we won\'t know about till we see it. There has been mention of each guild have a score, that by getting someon to admit defeat you go up.
Also, there will be open PvP areas, like an arena, or possible an extra dangerous area, where you are told as soon as you enter that you are at risk from other people.
To sum it up, you can fight other people if you go out of your way to find willing people, but no one can force you to fight.
Oh, and further more, if someone is causing yo trouble, constantly trying to get you to dual, tricking monstors into fighting you, etc, there will be GMs who will be able to help you.

There will only be limited PvP in Planeshift. Which means only PvP zones (ie. arenas) and duels.
PS will be a heavy roleplaying game and having open PvP will limit that.
P.S. There is a board for discussing PvP in the Wish List Forum. (Scroll to the bottom of the page)

Open PvP limits roleplay? That makes absolutely no sense. Artificial limits on character freedom that don't make any sense in the setting do NOT help roleplay. How are a Paladin and a devil worshipping Necromancer (or this game's equivalent) supposed to roleplay without being able to attack each other at will? ???

zombie thread... this one is so old it is fossilized.... best check the date on a thread before posting to it... and this has been addressed in newer threads elsewhere.
/me hears the lock coming

Was there a particular reason to do necromancy on a two-year-old thread previously resting comfortably in its grave? :P
Open PvP doesn't limit roleplay as long as it is still controlled - as in allowed only in specific areas, and similar. If we give everyone the right to fight anyone anywhere, this will become another PvP game for hack-and-slashers who want nothing to do with RP. This is not what we want, and thus yes roleplay will be affected.
