Title: missinf a file
Post by: MADjestic on July 08, 2004, 10:19:11 am
hi folks,

I\'m compiling PS under Linux now - but can\'t proceed because (afaik) I\'m missing a file - could, please, some Linux PS user send it to me by e-mail?

archer@timacad.ru

file:  [planshift directory]/planeshift/configure.in

Thanks.

Have you tried running ./autogen.sh in your PS dir?

yep

that\'s exactly what I\'m doinf - and I\'v already tried the 2nd MB distro - this is what I get:

[madjestic@MAD planeshift]$ ./autogen.sh
cp configure.jam configure.ac
rm -f  acconfig.h
rm -f *.so
creating aclocal.m4
rm -f aclocal.m4
for i in `find mk/autoconf -name \'*.m4\'`; do \\
        cat $i >> aclocal.m4; \\
done
autoheader
/usr/bin/m4: configure.in: No such file or directory
autoconf
autoconf: configure.in: No such file or directory
make: *** [all] Error 1

Did you follow the instructions in the technical help forum?  I presume you have but I have to ask.  Anyway if you have, you may have a corrupt download if this is the case you will (annoyingly) have to download the whole thing again.

Don\'t do this at the moment as my knowledge of linux is pretty limited at the moment so see what others have to say on the matter.
