OK ikf you could have one wish what would it be?
No multiple wishes.(like wishing 4421986 wishes)that is unless you want to wish for just one more wish......think about it and ull get it =P
For myself i would want Dbz powers. i dont watch the show ne more but if i did have Dbz powers noone could do nething to me. so id simply go take over the world and if the refused i would just destroy it. when i took over the world evrything would be run by me and noone would be poor or anything.......(bah i could wright a 4973258227482 pg book on how my world would work so i wont explain it)

Forum wish: FESFES disappears and is never heard of again :P
Real Life wish: That I could stick together with all my original friends and not have to break apart when going to different university

I\'d wish for happiness as well, but I doub\'t any divine power would ever let ME have any sort of powerfull wish. So I\'d prolly like to have Moderator powers, but the kind where I don\'t have to answer to no one. (Wondering why the Dev\'s will never make me a Mod or a GM....:D )

My wish is to control the flow of time. That way, when somebody is hurt in a ridicoulous or somehow funny manner, I\'ll just keepe on repeating it over and over and over etc.

hmm, FESFES, you do realise that with DBZ, part of the premise behind the show, according to Akira Toriyama(sp) was that there is always someone more powerful, right. the premise is based on an old folktale about the worlds most powerful swordsman being killed by a farmer using a staff... don\'t remember the whole story really.

Apotheosis means deitification/quintessence of being which is kinda related to omnipotence.
Eh... being all powerful and all-knowing seems a bit boring. You know all there is to know and every possibility. Just wish for eternal happiness/satisfaction to get a better deal.

But wouldn\'t eternal happiness/satisfaction be boring. Happyness and Satisfaction are nothing if you never feel sad or unsatisfied. Tragedies are really bad granted, but they really make happiness all the sweeter (speaking from experience...too much of it at that :) )
Nah, staying with friends is the best.
Either that or wishing that the faces behind the player thread wouldn\'t completely kill my comp making my posts appear multiple times...either one :P

Well tell me how can you be bored if you are always happy? The very meaning of happiness and satisfaction is the lack of boredom and the constant state of enjoyment. Otherwise heaven (if it existed) would be boring (eternal bliss or happiness) :D .
I know of ways you can be bored if you knew every single thing - meaning you had no point to explore or no point in existing (with omipotence, what else is there left to accomplish?).

An infinite volume of spam, arranged in an inverted 5-dimensional torus, whatever the heck that is.
I have a hard time thinking of a \"super power\" that I wouldn\'t be tempted to seriously abuse, so I think I\'ll wish to become perfect :)

Actually being always happy is easier then it seems
when using the right technology. Just reprogram
certain areas of the amygdala and cerebral cortex
(maybe remove certain mechanisms and neural
pathways for boredom) and create a neural loop
expressing happiness. Ah well, you won\'t be exactly
human at that stage :P .
The hard part is maintaining \"eternal\" happiness. But
wishes don\'t have to make sense, do they :)) .
The closest you can get using theoretical technology is
uploading your happy modded consciousness into a supercomputer. Then program your subjective thought
time to think much faster. Every second would seem like
a decade. You could prolong your happiness that way...
but not eternally.

I would become a half-god so I could cure the world from its sickness, and save it from certain doom, but always be able to return to my human form if I wanted to.

Oh and umm comment on this thread. uhhhhh... everyone was 3 inches tall, and we had tiny wings. Not like insect wings, but like bird wings, with feathers. Not bird sized feather but ones that were proportional to our wings. And there wasn\'t 7 continents, There is one big one!

The creationary deity thing is the best one I\'ve heard so far. More original than omnipotence, anyway. Eletronic forces though... lame. Just lame. You can make a source of infinate electic power and potentially create planetary systems. It still leaves you mortal.

being invincible doesn\'t mean you could dominate the world. You could be weak as a new born lamb and still be invincible, you wouldn\'t really be able to do anything but nothing could kill you.

Matter - I\'ll make myself invincible
Time -If I make an error and somehow get captured or fallinto lava, i could make time go back.
Space -if like that other guy said, i get stuck somewhere like in outer space ... i would just teleport myself somewhere else

Hmm... tough one. I wouldnt want to be invincible because that would take away the thrills of adventure. I wouldnt want to be happy instantly, because part of the joy is finding hapiness yourself, I wouldnt want to be rich, because it feels better when you earn it yourself... This is tough.
I would wish for my claymore back. I dropped it and somebody named \"lolx\" picked it up :/

That is just another way of saying that you want to be omnipotent.
The idea of the ability to travel in time sounds the best so far. Undoing mistakes in the past and the ability to try things out until you succeed. Like having a load/save in rl.
The negative aspect is that it gets boring if you try something for the 100th time unsuccesfully.
So my wish would be to know where and when i have to be and what to do to get closer to the important goals i have at that moment. In time for me to react to this. Without exactly knowing why i must be there or do that thing.
As an example, knowing i should take a train instead of the bus, meeting a very attractive girl with whom i fall in love with.

It seems to me like there are a lot of misconceptions about drugs. I don\'t want to derail the thread, but drugs are not as evil as a lot of people seem to think.

You don\'t seem to have any bad experiences about usage of drugs.
I do about one persons usage and now she is gone.
I have seen addicts begging for money when I have visited Estonia and other such places. Consider your words please.

Dispite your negative experiences drugs is usefull in the medical world though as JoeyGuy pointed out.
So why not wish for drugs to be non-addictive and non-damaging.

Sigh. English has such bad words in it. If I could translate it better it would be easier for me and you guys. Lets just say. Remove all addictive things that can be called drugs. I would even include tobacco.

There are a lot of things people can do to screw themselves over. There is such a thing as responsible drug use. The problem is that people are exposed to drugs way before they have any idea of that concept.

Drugs are illegal for a reason. I think drugs would be illegal if they would be non-addictive and non-damaging too. Or at least would have use limitations cause drugs can temporarily mess your head/get you confused. I could imagine all the guys driving cars and smoking crack or stuff like that.
About responsible drug usage. I think the first time when people get hooked is more sosial than knowledge based. People may know the dangers but the sosial pressure would be too much for them to deal with. Their \"friends\" could think that they are wussies or something like that.
That medicine point loong time ago was pretty bad since drug usage is mostly social and mental more than physical ease.

Sure being a Penquin would be great, untill you think about all the many, many creatures that eat penquins and the fact that the penquin has few natural defences. I mean sure, in the water they are the some of the fastest and agile creatures out there but on land; ha you are screwed. :D :P

First thing, drugs are not illegal everywhere. Second, alcohol has many dangerous effects, but it\'s still legal. Alcohol kills people and ruins lives. Is alcohol evil? I would disagree. There are many people who can enjoy alcohol without screwing up.
About responsible drug usage. I think the first time when people get hooked is more sosial than knowledge based. People may know the dangers but the sosial pressure would be too much for them to deal with. Their \"friends\" could think that they are wussies or something like that.
My point is that young people don\'t know when to stop. Why they are using drugs in the first place isn\'t all that relavant. Yes, it\'s bad that kids are getting high, because there\'s no way they can be expected to be responsible.

The ability to influence my brain from the future, such as I watch the lottery being drawn & make myself buy a ticket last weak, then my neural pathways are transferred into the alternate reality which was created by making my mind time-travel. But if I didn?t like the effects I could always go back to the one before. (Pour me in one of the bad realities) anyway I could take over the world if I wanted by blackmailing everyone? or just win the lottery settle down & join the dev team & help them make Planeshift faster with all my money & time-travel ability?
Or for a realistic wish I would just win the lottery @ $250,000,000 & hire a bunch of people to help the dev team out! 8)

I wish... I got a bottomless chest FILLED with MONEY! And the money keeps on coming! And everyone who has the intention of telling other people, has the memory of the chest instantly wiped from them. The chest was in MY room, and is not lock-pickable, only I have the key, and the key can only be used by me.
And lastly, I wished i gained this chest without repercussion! (After reading the Monkey\'s Paw you can never be too careful about what you wish for!)

Why is it that so many of you want some variation of omnipotence, or a superpower? Do you really think that would make you happy? Or wouldn\'t you just get bored with it after a while? I think I probably would :rolleyes:
If I had one wish, it would be that I could finish my novel, and get get published. :)
Then I could take it from there. :D
