Title: Xacha, and a little monster..^o^

Hello everyone!!, heres my first drawings for this forum, i hope you like them ^__^, ahh, also i want to be a team member for this game, but i have a virus thing that doesnt let me enter to mi e-mail page, it goes \"about:blank\" after a few seconds T_T....

now about this drawings...wen i find out about this game(yesterday ^^), and the posibility for working as a concept artist... i got really exited, because im studying to be one ^^, so i draw a remake of the Xacha, and a little pathetic monster O__O, if anyone know a way for me to apply for the job (other than e-mail T_T) please tell me..(i dont know how to make the links work, or to show the pictures directly in the post, so if you do, please tell me, for now the addreses is all i have T_T)

ok, there ^__^ is kinda big, sorry, also the original draws are 60%smaller, thats why it looks so undetailed

THANKS, ^__^ , and i yes i could easily color the Xachas, but i had to sent a black and white draw, and a colored one, so ill paint them tonigth and ill post them tomorroy(because i have to go study a little, for some exams^^) thanks again for your words. ^__^

actually, that little rock monster is an old design of mine, but it look like gollum because of the backround of the monster, he is an exiled, and hes tribe as cast him out from their feeding area, so they suffer from hunger, and they become weak, and eventually becomes other monster food or a hunter trofee, now you have to remember that gollum was only a poor feed halfling, that end up walking in four legs, but this creature is actually a stone monkey, i was thinking in a nocturm ape, they have no tail, and theyr forearms are longer, and the eyes are enourmous, and shinny^^,so this is a poorly feed stone nocturn monkey kinda creature, and yes he has the same posture that gollum, but the posture of gollum is like a monkey posture, so i didnt copy, or base my monster in gollum, is just the way people relate things.... by chains, and almoust alllways they dont see other chain relation posibility, like the fact than gollum wass thought as a bestial monkey like character, decadent and mad, and is not the origin off all the other ideas that may come up that are related to poorly feed monkeys ^__^

by the way, i only modify a little the original Xacha, but wat colors of clothes do you think they should wear, i mean the ones up there?

(Oh, and no offense, but people like it when the \"Edit\" button it used. :) )


They might wear more of Blues, greys, and browns.  But then again, my char\'s not Xacha...

I like the monkey creature alot, can actually see it roaming along the plains of the cavern avoiding other players among the shroom fields, in the hopes to live another day. As for the relation to Tolkien I really don\'t associate the creature with it, as Gollum has had many forms from various story tellers in the movie industry, as well as illustrations. Though I could associate Yoda as Tolkien\'s Gollum \"mini-me\" version as well =)

Curious, would the gems be related to....currency in-game ?

heheheh, yes wen i made this creature for the first time, those jems were rocks, but then i had a little idea, as you already know this creature is destined to end up in the whrong side of a hunter`s blade, or a mounters stomach, but the fact this thing cant attack to much, because the lack of food, may make the hunters have mercy on him...but wen i said theres was little food supply for them outside their tribe feeding grounds, i mean they eat crystals ( hohohoho), and so, they digest these crystal, and sometimes they produce a bioproduct with some crystal characteristics, some times even more valuable than a red crystal( lets call it blood crystal for now), and these come out from the skin sometimes, but theres always some in the head, so they are weak, they are starving, they are ugly, and theres a prize in their heads...literaly, the only thig this creature has left to do...is run like hell and wait for the end ^^

As one rapper would put it \"it\'s hamm\'a time\" I love it, fit\'s in the eco-system in the world. Glad the digested gems form on the outter shell along with crystalization growth over time at that. Hate to be out there collecting red crystals off the ground when all along it was some creatures poop =O

heheheh, this monster metabolism is kinda like the Kran, but with the difference that they excret unnesesary sustances as vapor, and trought especific pores, the thing is this creature absorbs some of the minerals of the crystal to suport their bone growt and all other funtions, but they dont consume nothing similar to a protein, so their muscules dont develop much, and yet(as the crystals are known as energy sources in this game) they consume the energy of the crystal to be able to function, kinda like a calory, and as they consume moustly the other minerals of the crystal, their skin becomes harder, as for the small outher shell of \"blood crystals\" is caused because the excreted gas, and the crystals locate just right in the excreting pores,so they start blocking their own capability to expulse the unnutritibe sustances trought time, and some times they become little presion bombs, and others learn to use that presion in various ways, but theyll die eventualy for theyr own self-poisonig(they last aruond 4 to 8 years, but some exeptions[4%]can live to 20 years), so the tribe of this creatures are carefull about eating more than nessesary, and the oldest already have an imbresive blood crystal shell,  but this \"exiled\" in particular does not eat much, so they dont start to block pores and withhold presion, also create blood crystal in reallly small amounts, and they cant take avantage of the presion usage tecnices of his tribe, and the crystal shell they produce.....ahh, also this monster is exiled wen the tribe find him usseles, or is there was an insurrection against the dominant male, all involved should be exiled, and that is worst than a death sentence for them....also they use this exiles to get hunters away from their lairs, and to control population among themselfs..(heheh ^__^)(ahh, as a personal note, this society is similar to cappuchin monkeys,also their intelect)

They would have high potential as a form of ingredient in crafting potions/spells. A gormet dish for the Kran as well, give something for the cooks to profit from them. Than strickly gardeners selling enriched mineral dishes =)  But ya know it just a slab of processed cow pie with a sprinkle of rock =O

 if you realize..it haves more potencial than that^^, not because of the gems,....remmember their digestive system alows the to separate the components of crystals^^, thing that even alquimist cant do on their own, and is not just a normal separation of ingredients, it separates all the unessencial minerals from the energy, so it would alow to create some sort of energy source from the creature?s gastric acids, the only problem is, where do you put a liquid so strong that can dissolve crystals -_-, and only this creatures stomach and carry such a powerful acid, so may be the answer is in there^^...hehehhe, but the exiled already have a discomposed digestive system, because they need the minerals to keep repairing their stomach from the acid, and they already trow up all the acid just to live a little longer...and this creature tribe is much much dangerous than the exiled ^^...as for the dishes and potions, the \"blood crystals could have a lot of potencial en that matter, after all the blood crystals are organic versions of the crystals^^

i really dont like to repeat myself about the gollum thing, but im glad u liked it ^^......
