Well, you all know that Depthblade\'s guild went down the drain, and he\'s been eating his humble pie and working his way up the ranks of another guild. Now comes the news, the time has come for the same to happen to me. I too have failed in my desire to lead a guild. I feel very humbled, and, now that I think of it, it\'s amazing that we lasted for as long as we did. Anyway, I\'m disbanding our guild and am going in search of a new one. I already have hopes for a certain guild that I\'d like to join, but I guess I\'ll see what happens. This is the end of Cutting Edge. It was good, but it\'s over.

It\'s really a shame to hear that Cutting Edge has not succeeded for you, Phinehas. I really thought that you had planned it a lot better than many other guilds that have gone on to great things, but I suppose it was just not meant to be. :(

You know what\'s sad? I thought the same. I also thought that I\'d planned it better than a lot of other guilds. Evidently not.

(Edit: I find that most guilds overplan, which makes them fail. Cabal has little planning, we just do as we see fit as it\'s needed, which makes things more interesting for both us leaders and our members.)

Those are dire news. I wasn\'t expecting Cutting Edge to fail, not this soon at least.
If you are interested in the Dark side I think you would do great in the Dark Empire ;).

Wow! That\'s a change from when I was talking to you yesterday (Phinehas \'s decision to disband CE, not Altharion the Cynical Peanut)! Anyways, good luck in joining whatever guild you choose to join, remember, many old friends would love to have you in their guilds.

Thanks guys. Sangwa, if I went over to the dark side, I\'d definitely join the DE over the Cabal, but I\'m not \"dark\" so it doesn\'t matter. The long and short of why it\'s over is not that it was poorly planned, it was that I didn\'t have enough support from members. I mean, face it, I\'m no web-designer, and I\'m not a lot of other things. The only thing I had going for me were my creativity and leadership abilities. Well, that\'s just not enough to make it among all the other semi-newbie guilds. Besides, come next week I\'ll have to spend less time on PS. I\'ll still play, but not enough to run a guild.
Oh, and Altharion seeing as I don\'t even know you, I don\'t really care what your expectations were.
Oh, and I\'d appreciate a pm or something from any guilds that are interested in having me. Not to be a nuisance or anything, but I\'d like to join another guild, but I don\'t want to force my presence on anyone. \'sides, several guilds are invite only, so.... Also, a couple of my guild members who were actually active might be looking for a guild as well, I can vouch for them(as if that means anything).

ah Phinehas you had the best neutral guild out there what with Kasnar and you, Toadman, and Devilvampire on the council :P (oh and Psyconn too but he kept disagreeing with me :P)

Nevermind Altharion, it\'s in his nature to say that kind of stuff.
It\'s truly a pity that you are not considering the Dark side ^^. Maybe you should join the Mercenaries, that\'s where Depthblade went after disbading Xperto ;).

I can\'t say I haven\'t considered it, but, first of all, they haven\'t invited me, and second of all, I\'m not sure that I\'m cut out to just fight for the highest bidder.

Thanks Waylander, that\'s a kind way of saying that I have no skills. Elegrand, it is much easier not to carry CE on my shoulders. I have time to dedicate myself to the study of magic.

lol, I never said no skills I said different skills than those that become mercenaries (ie: you have amazing leadership, a cunning mind and good organizational skills. Mercs have: No morals, greed, cunning mind, and a few with leadership)
So maybe if you were one of the lead mercs you would be good otherwise you would be overqualified for your possition

Personally, I congratulate you Phinehas for not choosing the Dark Ways. Even though I am neutral, I abhor any who wish to cause harm to others for their own good. On the other hand, I won\'t have anyone telling me what is good and right, and then forcing me to do it.

Well, I\'ve been offered entry to some good guilds.... still deciding though.

for once i aggree with alth (for once trust me this aint a regular accurentce ;P ) im surprised this guild lasted as long as it did...then again im constently surprised my guild still has members :P
on another note cabal did once used to have plans but they all left with auran :P

Depthblade: lol, yeah I know, it\'ll be the same as always, the evil hordes attack the good guys, the good guys use their uber *good guy special honour bravery* stuff to somehow make themselves amazing and kill the evil hordes. Then 10 years later the same thing happens again, evil horde etc. in an endless cycle of blood fest :D The best part is that both sides lose, the evil side loses the hordes of doom, and the good guys always lose their best friend xD
