Great news!
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Phinehas, the former leader of the fine guild Cutting Edge, to Ashes. Phinehas is currently a trial member but hopefully he will soon become a full member, the first real mage in our guild.

Thanks Red Monk. I\'m really honored to be a part of Ashes.
As many of you know, I\'m a mage. I\'ll be following the Azure and Red ways primarily. I also hope to be able to contribute with my leadership skills and to be able to use my experience with Cutting Edge for the benefit of my new guild.

I know little about you phinehas, but you do sound like a great addition to ashes. We\'ll most certainly need a mage.
Im sure that you\'ll be a full member one day in ashes. Hopefully rather sooner then later.

More news in Ashes for the interested: It has been decided through a voting that Dyari the Grey Shark and Tybalt the Red Monk (me) are to be promoted, through a ceremony ingame. Dyari will go from the rank \"healer\" to \"Father\", and shall be known as Father Dyari.
I will go from \"Flyweight\" to \"Shadowboxer\"

Well thats addressing the guild as a whole, if a guild vastly expanding like Rangers of the Expedition made a thread for every member they got, there would be over 20 threads right after another.
P.S. Sangwa, i laugh my ass off every time i see that Giant Jelly Space Sword!

FlippySeal: Lets just say I made a new thread because I found there were too many post in the old one. This thread will be used as the new ashes thread, thats it. Btw, you dont have to worry about us making 20 threads after another. Our member limit is set to 9 ;)
Fesfes: Unlike many guilds that go for quantity when recruiting members *erhum*Metal Militia, we go for quality, which means that we dont get new members all too often. So we celebrate ;)
Sangwa: Phinehas\'s trial will consist of many things. I especially plan to test him in the stats important for a good mage. Thats all I can say

Well, Ionas, thanks a lot. I really hope to move on from being a \"trial\" member soon. And Sangwa, I don\'t have to \"hang around\" to be worthy, I just am. :) Anyway, I\'m really glad to be a part of Ashes.

Sangwa: The secret is...I hate Pizzas too. I worked in a pizzeria all summer and ate nothing but pizzas for a whole month :P (hmmm...is that why I created the samurai pizza cats???)
Anyway, just like you, I think that Phinehas is going to pass the trials but he needs to get the unanimous votes of the jury which doesnt have to be the easiest task. Ill make sure that he is introduced to all other members before calling for the vote... :)

Aye the future of one is upon a jury? ^^ I would hope it would be purely based upon actions and more stuff like that.
Having a jury doing a vote sometimes is bad because, perhaps jury members go on vacation or have faulty internet for two weeks and stuff like that! Knowing Phinehas I know he will get in no matter what, so that is good to know he is being taken in!
EDIT: Sangwa I was mistaken, I thought the green jelly you speak of was a green odor :D

Because a player passes the trial stage and becomes a full member it doesnt mean that he/she doesnt have to be active anymore. So if a member doesnt do his job in getting to know Phinehas or any other member on trial, it is this full member who might lose his place in the guild.
Of course we cannot allow a member that has been on vacation, and havent gotten to know the trial member, to vote. Either the member doesnt vote or the voting is held later.
Just before the voting is to be held I will present what tasks Phinehas has been given and if he has achieved the goals required.

Sorry for double posting but this is something new...
We are looking to recruit a planeshifter that is active on forums and has, or will until CB have, the possibility to be active ingame as well. Most important of all (especially with this character) this player must RP and do it well. ;)
We already have a healer (Grey Shark), a mage (Scorching Mind), a fighter (Tainted Soul), an archer (Psy Bolt), a swashbuckler (Rolling Monkey), an assassin (Black Cat) and a monk (Red Monk). The team is almost full since we\'ve set the member limit to 9. What we seek now is:
The Big Bane, a low-intelligence, berserker like, incredibly strong, hammer- or giant axe-weilder that simply loves to destroy things. When fighting alone he/ she (or both [Kran]) runs into battle with the weapon heald high and no strategy at all because he/she simply doesn\'t know better. When in an organised group as Ashes the berserker is a little more controlled and at least knows in which direction to run.
As mentioned already, but it can never be said enough. RP is very important and since this character is of very low intelligence so shall he act in everyday situations as well :D

EDIT: Even though we would like a Big Bane to join us, we are looking to get a good and won\'t take anybody in that we don\'t like, so even if 50 people apply it doesn\'t mean that one of them will get it.

More good news!

More good news! A voting has been held and Zeus is now part of the Ashes. :D
I\'m happy, and I\'m sure my mates are too, that Zeus has joined our guild. The Silver Wolf will definitely play an important role.
Things are going great and activity is incredibly high. The team is nearing completion!
