Title: First Time Playing...My Problems
Post by: Kadius on May 06, 2002, 07:24:31 am: Ok, firstly i made myself a charcter and clicked on upload...i do not know exactly what is supposed to happen as i haven\'t played before...it didn\'t come up with a message sayign i was succesfull etc. but i am sure i clicked on upload i then tried to connect...i got \"connection timed out! check with tecxh support to see if the server is online...is the server online? or is it my computer being stupid again?

It\'s just to say that if the upload works properly, it\'s supposed to launch the game automatically just after uploading.

I think that if the game is not launched, it means the upload hasn\'t worked.

(The cursor is also supposed to stop blinking when you click on the button.)

Post by: Kadius on May 07, 2002, 09:58:53 am: Ok basically i went on my computer today, thought I\'d give it another go and it uploading fine and dandy, it launched the game...

loading blah blah...
loading this....
loading that....
Recieving world map...

but then it stopped right there and then... nothing else, now unless the world map is mighty big then I got a problem...

I have a cable modem and i left it for about 5 minutes, can anyone help? ?(

Post by: Tearlach t'an Ailech fin Leros on May 07, 2002, 11:08:15 am: The game is unpacking a file and that can take a long time on slow computers, you can unpack the files if you want it to go faster, hope this helps.
