in most mmorpg\'s don\'t you have to make a new person when the beta/alpha ends? so does that mean that when cb comes out you\'ll lose your guy?

Use the Search button before you post.

The database will be wiped for the next release. You will be given the opportunity to reserve your character\'s name, aswell as convert any crystals you own to the new monetary Tria system; however, your character will be deleted and you will need to re-create it.

Too many things have changed in the next version, including character creation, thus even if you kept your old character, it would be utterly unusable in Crystal Blue.
