Title: Finishing off an opponent
Post by: Syzerian on August 13, 2004, 06:13:00 am
This idea was inspired from Prince of Persia
Basically, when a person loses all their health they lye on the ground for about 10 seconds exhausted and unable to move. To kill them you would have to preform a \'finishing move\' which could be things like:
Beheading them
Stabbing them through the heart
Kicking them while their down
Upper cut
Chop them in half
Any other normal attack
Or playing it the evil way and letting them eventually bleed to death :]

What are your opinions towards this idea?

I see with this the same problem here is with gore and dismemberment. Young people will play, there might be some \"ok\" finishing move, nothing like ripping off the persons heart (cof cof fable cof cof)...

\"Finish him!!\"

*Forward, forward, down, forward, high punch!*

\"Fatality!!\"

*Squish!*

... That should sound familiar to some of you. :)

Anyway, this sounds more like a PvP topic rather than a PvM topic, so I\'m relocating it to the PK sub forum.

Mortal Combat! :D
I wasnt really thinking of dismemberment, just impaling them or something
I find it really fun on Morrowind when I\'m facing a weak npc with a bow and I wait untill they are almost within attack range and then shoot, the damage knocks them off their feet and gasping for breath, so I pull back on my bow and say \"Get up fool!\" and then release the arrow and watch it fly through their skull :]
