I can\'t draw or program worth noting, so this is my first post here.
However, this still fits into the art category. I do this a lot, it just so happens this one is kinda PS-themed, so here. (http://www.geocities.com/seregon_blackflame/forest.mid)

Kinda repetative isnt it? Its alright over all, It could be used in...some sort of shop I think, or a dark forest. It sounds too cartoony to be for a dungeon.

I have never done anything with sound, but I assume you can put it through a couple of audio filters & actually make a midi sound better? Anyway you could post it in Laanx Wheel Of Wish in the sound section?

very nice, although the ending doesnt really make it a song that can loop well

The repetition is a technique of making a single melody go through several different instruments. It works a lot better when you spend more than two hours on a song and/or write one more than 3 and 1/2 minutes long.
As for looping, I would have made it a lot shorter if I meant for it to be looped. I was actually playing with a brass quintet (http://www.geocities.com/seregon_blackflame/quintet.mid) (about 1:19 I think) that I thought might be worth looping.
Anyways, I really don\'t compose anything very seriously. I just sit down and write a song or so a day when I feel like it. BTW I thought the dark forest comment was kinda cool b/c the title I had for it was \"In the Tranquil Forest.\"
[edit] I don\'t know if anyone cares, but I added a link to the quintet since I mentioned it. Forgot I already had it stashed online. Like I said, I found a free program a few days ago - this is the first time I\'ve done this away from school and I\'m only spending a few hours on each song :P [/edit]
