I have returned, and the wedding will be in two weeks, the 28th i believe. Be there! It should be fun. Everyone who is sitll willing to go, take pics, whatever as of NOW, post or pm me so i can find out if your still going.

Ahh, well I just got back on planeshift so I would love to attend my wife's next meeting. However, just for your knowledge, she is on vacation starting this thursday and will not be putting on a Bards meeting this weekend. The weekend after however, will be going on at a time that is not predetermined. Stay tuned

More like, sounds like Power Level haven. I think the root idea of an arena for players to combat each other is good, but in this game, it can be ruined by the ever so common PL.

I just had a long break. More like, a month or two. I just fixed it up. What has changed? I mean, two things i noticed was the enemy damage thign was fixed, and now you can buy weapon repair kits. What else is there?

Once again, im horribly unhappy to annouce, because of circumstances out of our control...once again, we must further postpone the wedding until futher notice. We are both havign problems with plane shift, and packed weekends, aswell as family problems on my side, so therefore, we will let you know when its back on. I must apologize to Einnol for postponing it once again.

Hmm, well my vacation is another two months, im still in highschool
and for me, who is getting a solid job next year, i am not required t odo all that much this summer. I went to a concert twice in a week, one i actually helped put on. Its been alot of fun actually getting to know the guys in the bands, and just being involved. Its been a blast. And there is another one in a couple weeks that im sure ill be helping at.

Alright, you are partially correct on how ridiculous i find them as a band physically.
But regardless, in my opinion, which by no means in law or truth, from what i have heard, though i have only heard breifly, its just generic heavy music, with not really many solos or any other elements that are particularly redeeming to the seeming lack of skill. I hear good things about their drummer and singer, that is all. Some bands may not solo, but they might have alot of speed and intensity, or have very powerful and meaningful lyrics. Maybe the guitar playing is a god of strings, maybe the singer has insanely powerful stage presence. I just havent seen much of any of that with them.The lyrics i find are just not all that deep, and just dont have much of a point, unless to attract troubled teens who are angry at their parents not takign them to hot topic more often.
Once again, this is only my biased point of view that only has breif experiences of the band, so i dont need any flames from fans.

Not to be rude, but what do so many people see in Slipknot that makes them good? Its your own musical taste, and Im not saying its bad, but i dont get what makes a band of like, 9-10 people all dressing up to play music any good.
If someone might explain it to me, that would be nice.
