I have the same problems as you, Migg. Talad mentioned in Discord that he needed to contact his ISP.
Several players used the Discord roleplay channel for the weekly event.
Posting this almost 6 hours after Talad said the server is going up and am still getting the timed out message.

I've seen a /tell message that followed the contour of the landscape in PS but only have a screenshot of this particular instance from June 2011.
