The Hydlaa Plaza / IFMYOMMORPG
« on: May 19, 2006, 07:11:47 pm »
If you were going to make a rpg, mrpg, orpg, mmorpg, what would you put in it how would you make it. What would be the theme, the propuse, the reason. What would make it unique, oringinal. What races, what weapons?  Would you play it if you made it?

Just put your ideas down here.

                       This Is unlike the wishlist in that it has to do with you, if you diccided to make a game thats differnt form this one.
-benefits for this thread- less cluder around wishlist
-inspires creativness so more thoughtful ideas for wishlist
- and quite possible a new game for the Planeshift people to work on

--When someone post after me then I will post my ideas since certain Gms will combine this with my next post, Since this is the introduction I don't want that to happen because it would cause clutter and confusing. Goodday for now

« on: May 08, 2006, 09:06:58 pm »
I'm going to be editing and revising my story so it has more; detail, depth, and flows easier. And so with out further a do I present my prolouge

Kallum of Fhel

-Prologue
An infant born of ancient magic and common power, under ominous signs and dour evil, will walk the world with a cursed existence. Always seeking the truth. Those that join his dreary life will be poxed with plagues and poverty. Till the fated the day the demon is slain with the heart and justice of nation born again in a man.
Tradgi, Dragar Cleric,
~Najadasd Book of Prophecies

 â€śTradgi, hurry they are almost upon us!” exclaimed a dragoon general in vibrant sigold armor that he couldn’t quite place.
      “Let me hide the book so the Hilets can not find it.” Said Tradgi, in a rather rash voice, which he was known for, throwing his pen into the inkwell and binding the book in enchanted leather. Then handing it to the general who he now realizes as the first human that was learned. “Pass this book through your family and it shall hide them, do not open and read the sacred text in which I have written or the Hilets will find you.” The human nods and runs clutching the treasure to his breast. As Tradgi peers out the door he sees his childhood home burn down. Slowly they slink into his room from the walls they congeal into ethereal beings, demons. Tradgi did not fall by the first arrow or the second it was when they severed his head from neck did he loosen his grip on his sword and fell.
* * *
        The book did travel with them for a while and where it went great wars erupted eventually the book and the prophecies where lost for the ages. Through this time the Dragars slowly disappeared because of genocide of the dragons, their protectors and guardians, by the Demons. And human life flourished and built great empires that always ended with corruption, as they always will.
* * *
       It was the Third age of the Humans, and the stories of the Dragoons, Dragars, and Demons have become legend. And a single man walked through the ruins of an ancient city. He searches for some unknown reason seeing how he could have servants do it for him. When he peeked inside of a fallen building he saw a glinting object next to a horned skull, which should have scared him, but instead it soothed him. He picked out the glinting object that seemed to be a sword with a hilt that came to a dragon’s head and a blade more deadly then steel and more heartless then iron with runes of an unknown language carved along it. When he, The most noble lord of Fhel otherwise known as Geint, looked at the runes that began to clear and they seemed to say Narjaver. This was the one thing Geint was looking for, the one thing that seemed to belong to him. As he was thinking a voice roused “Behold the blade of good in which will be the sundering blow to evil that will stalk your family.” Geint being startled looked at the source, the skull, as it seemed to have come from it. That was enough for him to go away from the site and declare it hallowed and cursed. Geint came to wed a lass of Varre and came to sire a male heir, Hidithe, and a girl who died shortly after because of a plague. Hidithe came to age and married a lady from Naja who birthed a male child name Kallum. Unfortunately his mother died at the brithbed, from then on things slowly got worse with Geint going senile with age and an everlasting whisper that came from the skull. Kallum at the age of twelve learned his father, Hidithe, came to be slained by one of the last dragons. Which put him into Geint’s care. Two long years pass and that leads us to now.

Have you ever been in it?

What is it?
-The best friend syndrome  is where you meet a pretty young girl who you love, and would do any thing for.
But she thinks of you as an older brother and her \"besttest Friend\" and every day you don\'t tell her you feel that you die a little each day you don\'t tell her.
Requirments

-2. You have some sort of problem
-3.you love her deeply
-4.she thinks you as a brother and her best friend
-5. your afraid to tell her because you fear about your friendship

So why bring this up?

My Deliemna-
I told her and I don\'t know what will happen.

« on: February 20, 2006, 07:26:04 pm »
this idea hasn\'t ever been thought
I\'ve searched it too.

lets say your fighting a ceature(who had a sword) and it hits you with the flat of its blade !bing! you just tought of a new way to attack. so you roll out of the way stand up try to mimick the ceatures attack but instead you slip and accidentily throw your sword into the creature killing it.

So basis of paragraph
-need to be able to learn new ways of attacking by mimickery and serendipity.

-Chapter One
 He hardly grew weary swinging the blunt iron sword in the practice ring as his instructor called it. The day he came to the age of ten was the day his instructor, Solvy, began teaching him in sword craft so that he might one day ride with the king and lead his army to many great victories. That was all but some four years ago as he recalled it. Now parrying the deft blow that Solvy would have landed had he been thinking of past memories moments before. His goal had changed in the past two years and now he waits patently for the moment to strike down the dragon that mauled his father, Hidithe. Though it had been just two years since his death he still recalled the majestic appearance of him standing six foot tall with board shoulders, and the cunning gleam of intelligence in his eyes. He felt a searing pain in his right arm.
?Kallum, get your head out of the clouds and practice. I know your better with a sword then most so start at it and stop making a fool of yourself!? exclaimed  Solvy.
?I am sorry Solvy I am just thinking of the past.?
?I know you are kid you?ve been thinking of the past since your father died. Now come on,? said Solvy with a downward thrust of his sword. Kallum grinning neatly sides steps it and disarms Solvy. Much of the afternoon progress much of this way till the feast.
?So Solvy thought you had me beat,? said Kallum putting down his sword and shield in the armory.
?Wouldn?t have even bothered since you?ve been beating me soundly since last of year,? stated Solvy chuckling.
?Truth enough,? replied Kallum cleaning his hands, in the basin some stewards brought to him, while walking out the door to the grand hall where awaited a feast. Thinking upon what almost cost him the match he realized he couldn?t stay here much longer as his grandfather going senile and Fhel going to poverty.

* * *

Geint watched from his grand tower, eyeing his grandson walking smoothly into the grand hall. ?Soon, very soon will he be known for what he is,and in that time I will meet him and slay him and restore my family?s honor,? he said mumbling beneath his breath. ?Aticcas, my trusted advisor what day is this??
?It?s the 12th of the 3rd rotation of the sun.?
?Good, good you know what we have in plan for today??
?Yes my lord, I do, I shall see him dispatched at tonight?s feast myself.?
?Well get on with it.?
?Yes my liege,? said Aticcas on his way out of the door.
?When all his friends are taken care of and he is weak from the reaper?s taking I shall strike,? Geint said continuing on with his mumbling rant.

?Aticcas, I thought I smelled a weasel.? Said Solvy rising from his chair and turning to face Aticcas.
?Ah, Solvy, I see we are using the common greetings.? Replied Aticcas grinning, ?Come with me, and lets have a nice little chat shall we.? Leading Solvy from the great hall.
?Aticcas If you think I?ll leave that kid alone for just one second for you to have your way with him your wro-.? Solvy couldn?t finish words he was formulating because at his chest protruded a dragger of iron with a hilt head of a demon.
As he slipped down the wall Aticcas spoke, ?Too late my friend, for you had failed,? laughing and heading out the door.
