Mac OSX Specific Issues / Mac osx 10.4.11 update/play issues

When Trying to launch the game the picture with the arcane magic comes up and then the bar fills and then it freezes up.  So wI went into the updater and it says "an update is available but I don't have the correct permissions to continue"

I am the only user on my mac and the administrator as well.  How can I get this to work so I can play the game?

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / PS crash before load on a mac

Hi so I have Transmission and was able to download the torrent for the 10.4 for mac.  However when I click on the icon to start the game it doesn't even load before crashing.  The icon hops once and then nothing.  I've tried looking for some sort of game settings box to tweak but nothing I click on in the Planeshift file that I downloaded leads to anywhere other than a text-edit file or icon files.  Help please!

Hi, I cant see anything since the last server update.  Fixing brightness doesn't help.  In some places it is completely pitch black and I can't see anything. Here are my stats

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Immediate crashing

I recently had to wipe my mac osx 10.4.11.  I'm trying to reinstall the game but it keeps crashing at the map load area.  I've run the updater and tried the fixes from other threads but nothing is working.  I've made the changes from the readme file and it still continues to crash.  Please someone help me!  :(
